There is no electricity or running water and no WIFI. We do provide solar-powered and battery-powered lights.

The Dome is located in a large grassy area with ample space near a creek.  You can pitch additional tents (not provide) near the Dome for $10 each. There is easy road access and on-site parking.  You are welcome to explore the farm along the mowed paths.  Please be aware that we do have cattle on the farm, so do not open any gates and stay clear of the fences as they may well be electrified.

Outside, there is a fire pit and seating area as well as a grill and a dining area.  Some firewood is provided and there is additional firewood available for purchase on-site.  We also provide complimentary local beer or wine, as requested.

Lastly, we are in the process of building modern outhouse near-by with a toilet and sink and a solar shower. In the meantime we have a very clean portapotty but no shower facilities.

Disclaimer: If it has rained a lot in the past few days the area will be muddy, please plan accordingly!

The farm is over 200 acres of wooded mountain land and grassy pastures with some small creeks and springs.  Our goal is to create experiences, products, and a destination for folks to learn more about agriculture in the Valley and to instill a connection to the land.  This is our take on diversifying the  family farm and creating a modern agritourism destination.

Our Farm currently has grass-fed beef cattle and unique lodging options, like the Dome. We also have a small garden and some hops.

When visiting Our Farm, please ask about how to purchase our farm-raised beef and vegetables for your dinner.

We look forward to socializing with visitors over drinks during the evenings as they are interested.

Breakfast is available as requested. Requests must be received at least the night before by 5p. We will deliver a basket of fresh baked goods to the Dome at a time decided upon by both parties. We currently offer popovers, scones and muffins. Donations are appreciated.

Our Farm is within 20-30 minutes of Winchester, Woodstock, and Front Royal in Strasburg, VA. The northern Shenandoah Valley has a lot to offer.  Check us out on facebook to find our website and get more information on local attractions and to learn more about Our Farm. And please don't hesitate to ask us for more ideas on what to do while in the area!

Due to weather and the holiday season the Dome will not be available for bookings from December 15th through February 28th.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were looking for a quick 24 hour getaway to unplug and enjoy the outdoors. The camp site had everything we needed - grill, fire pit, toilet, bed, and more. We also enjoyed walking the grounds nearby and checking out the farm. This visit definitely won’t be our last!

I stayed two nights at the Dome and absolutely loved it. It’s very well located on a lovely pasture on Remy’s farmland and close to Strasburg. Everything was sparkling clean, comfortable and made for guests to fully enjoy their stay. Remy is very welcoming and helpful, and had many small attentions that made my stay a fabulous experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Dome! Remy was very responsive to our messages, and we had everything we could need. The fresh popovers and coffee delivered right to the dome in the morning were delicious and a thoughtful touch! If you stay at the dome, be sure to look out into the meadow at night... the fireflies were magical!

We really enjoyed this upgraded camping experience! Beautiful farm and peaceful getaway. Remy was great to work with and very communicative. So many thoughtful amenities included in our stay. Falling asleep to the sound of rain and waking up to all the sounds of wildlife in the dome was so refreshing. We would also recommend visiting Shenandoah National Park and doing the Stony Man Trail. Check out Sharp Rock Vineyard if you like wine! We loved it!

What an absolutely amazing getaway! The perfect spot for those who love to camp and be outdoors but want a little bit of ease and luxury from time to time. Spot was 12/10 incredible. Host was absolutely lovely to work with and communication was fantastic. Only regret was not being able to stay longer! Bring your games and your books because this is the best place to unwind and really spend quality time in nature and with your loved ones. The dome was tastefully decorated and had thoughtful additions as well. Anything it doesn’t have that you may need, the host is overly accommodating and kind and does a marvelous job of making you feel welcomed, important, and taken care of! Definitely will be back.

Our stay was wonderful! Remy was a fantastic host and the steak and popovers were DELICIOUS. Her husband even came and jump-started our car after my battery died!

The Dome was cozy and immaculate, with nice touches that made it welcoming. It was chilly at night (which we expected - its October), but the heater works great, and the bed/blankets kept us toasty. We didn't have any issues with bugs either, which was nice.

The porta-potty was the cleanest I have ever seen. :) The area was also gorgeous and peaceful, our dogs loved playing fetch on the big open space. Having the grill and the table were huge benefits as well. I highly recommend stargazing - the views are incredible!
