11 acres of horse farm land with 4 rail fencing (no farm animals), surrounded by woods in a country setting with beautiful views and a pond. There are miles of dirt roads surrounding to ride bikes on. Apparently this area is very popular with cyclists, as many of the campers so far have been avid cyclists. We're about 10 minutes to historical downtown Leesburg, Virginia. 1 mile to Stone Tower Winery and Zephaniah Farm Vineyard. There's a gas station 1 mile away and 10 minutes to Walmart, restaurants, outlets and shopping centers. Balls Bluff historical park and other Civil War points of interest are close by and Harper's Ferry, WV is about 40 minutes from here. The opening pictures are of 2-fledgling Bald Eagles that came to visit one day.About This Property We live on an 11.5 acre lot with open fields. It has four rail fencing and stone walls surrounded by woods. It's very quiet and private with plenty of wildlife and a nice little pond to enjoy. It's a beautiful country setting...very picturesque. Great for Gravel Cyclists in Loudon

This is a wonderful spot on one of the many London County gravel roads. Chris, the host, is welcoming and friendly. The spot I parked in is quite private. It’s well off the main road that has very little traffic to begin with. I used it as a base camp to sample the great gravel cycling in London County. It’s really convenient to Leesburg for supplies and great restaurants. All in all I give both the campsite and surrounding area five stars.

Quiet Spot for Birdwatching

Beautiful, quiet, private property with a couple of spot locations to pick from. Easy drive from DC for a quick weekend trip. Host was easy to contact and incredibly hospitable — met us upon arrival and gave us the heads up about ticks in the area. Big fields and a pond to walk around if you want to stretch your legs. Great for birdwatching!

Great little place to crash for the night. Chris and Sandra were awesome hosts. Had a whole setup of wood and area for fire and cooking ready for us. Nice private little spot!
