Welcome to our farm that dates back to 1916, where you can set up camp amidst our more than 10 acre farm. This charming spot is perfect for a getaway to rest, recharge, and explore the outdoors! About the Property: The rolling hills, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and the bountiful wild flowers do not disappoint if you are looking for a peaceful time away. The property itself is wonderful to explore - whether that be wandering through the vineyard at sunset, or talking a walk on the farm and saying hi to our goats, chickens, and cows. We are located about 30 minutes from Shenandoah National Park, New Market Battlefield, and the Skyline Drive, which is stunning any time of year! Campers can enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, and visiting wineries. There is something for everyone to do! We are also near the town of New Market, VA if you need to head into town and pick up some necessities. We really enjoy meeting campers and providing suggestions about what to do on and around our property, though we also respect guests' need for privacy and quiet-time if that is preferred. We want you to enjoy your time here. We welcome you to take a look at our various listing options. Great spot for a DC camp get away

Tent camping is easy when there’s water and firewood onsite! Fun to visit the goats and a good homebase for hiking. I imagine it’s an even prettier location later in the spring and early summer Had the pick of 2 campsites. One had some overgrowth in the fire pit and the other didn’t have a flat spot under a tree so I chose a spot in the field. Ended up being a good call because the morning sun was a welcome warmth with chilly mornings

Site 3 - B & M Journey Farm - Tent Camping

Tent camping at Mike’s was amazing! Mike was extremely accommodating, and was very generous with everything on the farm. Staying in the barn was also great shelter from any rain, and the beds in the barn were both comfortable. The campsite was kept very clean, and communicating with Mike was easy and quick. Getting to say hi to the animals on the farm was an added bonus! Highly recommend both the tent campsite and barn stay.

A lovely stay

My friends and I had an absolutely wonderful stay here. Mike was friendly, responsive, and made us feel very welcome on his property. The location is beautiful, even in the middle of a rainy and cold winter. Highly recommend for those staying in the area!

Cozy Loft at B&M Journey Farm Barn

Lovely space and the host were so welcoming. This spot is in the middle of all fun things in Shenandoah! I would recommend staying here for a long weekend. Thank you Mike and Britany for hosting along with the honey/apple butter. The weekend was wonderful!
