This site is a fair distance from the facilities, so we would either recommend that you are fully self contained, with your own toilet, or that you use the facilities at the top of the hill. The use of these facilities is included with your booking.
Children under 3 years old are free, but for insurance, please indicate them with a comment in the booking.
This property has an overall capacity to ensure that our number of visitors remain low. This not only ensures that campers recieve the space and peace they look for in a campsite like this, but also so that we can ensure the bathrooms can be kept clean and not overloaded. This is also a part of our COVID safe plan.
Due to this overall capacity it is important that you book for the number of people that you intend to have stay, as while we try to accomodate increases to booking numbers, they are not guaranteed unless booked. Beautiful camp spot. Great amenities, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. We would be more than happy to go back again.
I loved staying at the Donkey farm. Beautiful views, really picturesque.
Linda was great with the kids and let them spend time with the donkey’s. Unfortunately due to covid they couldn’t ride them but maybe next time.
Only issue I had was we had to camp on and around lots of donkey poo.
I think this was mostly an issue due to the fact that the rain and dew made it wet and mixed with the dirt so we trampled it in to our tents and felt like it was on everything.
That said I would definitely stay there again. Loved it!
Lots to do in the area. A really special place
We loved our stay at Dolly's Rest! It was so picturesque, peaceful and private and the sound of the birds in the morning was incredible. There's a really large flat grassy area for tents and it's a super short stroll to the creek. Linda is an incredible host, and provides a wonderful property. Highly recommend.

Such an incredible and unique place to stay. Very accomodating to allowing us to have our dogs with us, and for finding us a good quiet spot. Will definitely be back to visit soon. Your love for the donkeys is so wonderful.
Lovely private spot for a quick stopover in Warburton. Close to township but out of the hustle. Linda was a lovely host who took time out to show us around and introduce us to her beloved rescue donkeys. Clean bathroom facilities.

This place is really something special. Under 2 hours from Melbourne and 10 minutes to Warburton for resupply. Beautiful and quiet. If you have a fully self-contained set-up, you should definitely give this place a go. Thank you Linda for a wonderful weekend!
