Our property is located in Heathcote just 30 minutes from Bendigo. The property has plenty of space for a variety of camping options that will suit your needs. Try us out in winter, it's green cool and refreshing mornings. A camp fire going all day will help. Lots of room, lots of place's to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner in and around Heathcote. We are a 20 minute drive from Lake Eppalock which is a great spot for those who love their fishing, boating and swimming. We are 10 minutes from the O'Keefe Trail which is perfect for those who like to explore by bike or by foot.
There are a variety of great wineries and cellar doors nearby for you to explore, most of who sell their own local produce. Local pubs and a variety of cafes are all within a 15 minutes drive.
We are also close to 4WD and motorbike tracks, campers are not permitted to ride motorbikes on the property.
Campfires are permitted out of the fireban season, please check the CFA website to be up to date with any restrictions at the time of your stay. Campers must use the fire drum available to them. The shelter area also an old BBQ that you are welcome to use. We have laid crush rock to keep the dust and mud at a minimum. Please take all waste with you and leave the site as you found it. It was a very great site. We all loved the place. Very good environment. Looking to be back soon
There was a lovely bush setting with the different camp sites spread out. The camp was well sign posted at the end of the road. The GPS instructions were confusing for one of the intersections between the highway and the camp. The camp tracks were good for our caravan and car (not off road) when it was dry. After heavy rain, the tracks were muddy and slippery and we needed assistance driving out from the far corner where we had set up.
It's a great spot, plenty of space. No phone reception which is perfect for escaping the real world for a while. It's a great place to relax and recharge yourself.
John is lovely, super friendly and ready to answer any questions you might have.
Great price. The place had multiple sites to camp. It was pretty dusty when people were driving in and out.
Perfect bush camp to stay at! Shops are only 10 mins down the road but it feels like you are in the middle of the quiet bush. Toilet, tank water and LOTS of firewood included. Plenty of room for multiple campsites/vehicles. John is a super friendly guy who checked in a couple of times to make sure we were all happy and comfy! Would love to stay again.
Great spot, drive in park up off track, toilet, water for washing..great for a few vehicles enjoying a fire and a few tins..take care with the owners instructions in mind. Have fun

Had a great stay - excellent site, private but not too far from town. Easy to find and accessible. Would definitely recommend and book again
