There are plenty of day walks starting right next to your camp or you can go for a swim in the nearby King Parrot Creek which is also a great fishing spot. With just over an hour’s drive from Port Melbourne and 40min drive to Yarra Valley Wineries we are in a perfect location to set up camp and explore the region.

Our pet friendly property is located in a quiet neighborhood, easily accessible from the road (no 4WD needed) and ideal for swags, tents or campers.

It’s only a short wander to the Silver Creek where a track leads you into the Mount Disappointment State Forrest. The space is part of our front yard and our property is located at the end of a very quiet no through road. Your camp site is private and tucked in between the trees away from our family house with plenty of flat space.Sit at the picnic table or around the fire pit (season permitting) and take in the piece and quiet with plenty of wildlife to enjoy.

This was a great spot to bring our 22ft caravan and the fact that it's limited to one group makes it unique. It is a very large camp-site and would suit a large family of campers but feels very special when you're just a couple, as we were.

Nature abounds, with birds everywhere and the forest bordering the property. Personally, the blue wrens were our favourite.

Bush walks are nearby and a creek a few ks away was a great spot for a swim on the warm days we were there.

The site is very private but it was also great to have Clara and Caleb close by to answer any questions and provide tips on the local area. Having power and access to water was the icing on the cake for us.

Would highly recommend this site.

This is one of those locations that are so wonderful you almost don’t want to tell people about it so that you can keep it for yourself.

Clara and Caleb are wonderful and warm hosts who have made their beautiful little camp space incredibly inviting, including addition of a picnic table. They’re home is mere metres from a secluded eastern entrance to the northern chunk of of the Kinglake National Park and surrounded by pristine bushland. The walk circuits accessible from their gate are filled with a range of birds and wildlife, but be warned that while the basic map at the park entrance rates them as “moderate”, all walkers on the Alltrails app agree that the silver trail loop is definitely “hard”.

The campsite is essentially Clara and Caleb’s front yard. This is not recommended as a party venue for groups looking to loud camp, but for wildlife enthusiasts and birdwatchers this is heaven. I will be back to stat with them again as soon as i can.

Great little spot right next to the national park. Owners were extremely friendly and were very helpful. Plenty of room to accomodate any setup and even for a couple of cars. Would definitely come back with the kids. Thanks Caleb and Clara.
