Enjoyed walking out of our camper every morning to the warm welcome of friendly pigs, donkeys, and alpacas! What a cool place. Great vibes and Scott was very an amazing host!

We loved camping in our travel trailer at Willoughby Rescue! If you love animals I would definitely recommend checking this place out. There were a few other tent campers there and the place was amazingly quiet and peaceful. The animals were incredibly friendly and my 3 and 6 year old truly enjoyed being able to pet some of their favorite farm animals. Scott and everyone we came across were incredibly helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend!

Camping at the animal rescue was magical for our kids, who loved feeding carrots to the donkeys and pigs. Scott was an excellent host, who made sure we felt welcome and had everything we need. He even taught us some things about RV camping that we didn't already know. We're already planning a return trip!

We enjoyed our stay at the farm! The animals are very friendly, we fed them and enjoyed the landscape. We stayed at the RV spot and the electrical and water hookups were great, especially since it was hot, we appreciated being able to use our AC. Anyone who is wanting a unique camping experience and loves the outdoors should stay here.

It was the perfect place for our family to land and play this weekend despite cold November rains. Our daughter is animal crazy and she lived a dream come true with the world’s friendliest donkeys who let her hug and pet them for literally hours. We had a little fire in the circle, our son practiced his archery, and we fed sheep, alpacas, and, of course, donkeys. Scott was lovely and helpful. He’s got a great thing going there. We’ll be back.

This is a great place! Scott was very friendly, as were the animals. My wife loved feeding the herd! (Bring carrots, lettuce, and apples!) Once you were done feeding them, the animals would get the message and never pestered us.

The overall vibe was very relaxed and peaceful. The wind-chimes near the main house were perfect for mid-afternoon naps.

When not feeding the animals or napping in the sun, we wandered around the land and found a ton of cool “easter eggs” hidden around the farm. If you go, try to find all of the Buddhas, including the huge one in the woods! Every time we took a walk around the land, we’d find ones we missed earlier.

FYI: There is no cell service, but the wifi works fine. It will make things easier if you are already set up for the wifi (ie have the password saved or written down). Scott sends that out prior to arrival. That being said, we didn’t have any problem with our GPS finding the place and it’s pretty easy to find from 91, even if we did lose GPS. Scott will also give you directions with the welcome packet you get before arrival.

Overall: A+ experience, and definitely recommended for anyone trying to relax off the beaten path.

An amazing place and wonderful time. Couldn’t be more accommodating. We want to come back for more. Peaceful and tranquil, we’d have to say one of the most enjoyable places we’ve stayed.

Pleasantly surprised our 21 ft rig fit perfectly in the RV site!! Scott was super accommodating and laid back! The property was beautiful with many places to sit, a fire pit and of course critters! Samantha and Andorra the donkies were definitely the highlight of our trip. Exceptionally sweet. Definitely a 10/10 camping experience and we are very excited to visit again in the fall!
