The site was really overgrown with weeds. There was a 5th wheel camper stored on the lot as well putting our camper just a few feet from the road. We stayed the night we arrived but found other camping locations for the subsequent nights that were much more accommodating.

Convenient, quiet, and nice views!
A nice spot just a few minutes away from Willoughby's North Beach. It is a small gravel driveway on several acres of open land. The host, Aran, has an RV parked off the end of it, but he doesn't use it when he rents to campers, so it was a nice, private experience. The driveway is close to the road but hardly anyone ever drives by. The views of the surrounding mountains and hills are great, especially at sunrise and sunset. You don't really get a view of the Willoughby gap from the lot, but one of the best views of the gap is a short walk down to the end of the road. There is a fire ring but no picnic table or other amenities.

Tranquille Mountain Views
The site is located directly off of a quiet road and is easy to find. There’s mountain views as far as you can see. I had trouble being able to access the site because there had been some recent snow and the plows had blocked the entry. I reached out to the site owner and he was very responsive and willing to help in any way possible. I ended up not being able to stay there but he refunded me my costs without any hesitation. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here if you’re looking for a quiet off grid spot for your camper for a night or two.
