Gretchen couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. The spot is absolutely perfect, and in the middle of a stunning web of old New England gravel roads. Just perfect.

Had a great stay in the lean-to despite light rain. Communication with Gretchen was super easy. Highly recommended.

Quiet and private site tucked up on a hill with a great view. Everything was clean and well maintained. Easy access to Groton state forest and the rest of the NEK! Would happily stay again.

The lean to was perfect: clean, great view, and well situated so it was shaded in the afternoon. It included nice little comforts: a shovel for the cat hole digging, a basin for washing or whatever. Gretchen's communication before my visit was helpful. She was a great host and even brought me cookies! Would definitely stay again.

This place was perfect!! It was everything we were looking for, and more - beautiful, quiet location, plenty of privacy, wonderful people. The lean-to is exceptional - no corners were cut in its construction - and the location was just lovely. There is a walk up the hill to access the lean to, but what better excuse to stretch the legs? Truly an exceptional little spot. We felt very lucky to have found it and cannot wait to go back!
