Site 1 – The Talking Trees
This is an RV spot with a 30 amp connection. It has a covered area for an RV as well and has a 58' x 47' fenced-in area. Currently this is the only site with electricity, water and lighting specific to that spot. It can be used by any camper, you do not have to have an RV. The three main trees are adorned with tiki masks and the dead tree has the face of Captain Morgan, as we call him, who is said to talk in whispers at night. This area is also next to a field full of cows who may come up to the fence to check things out from time to time. There is a new decorated privacy fence and it has a charcoal grill, a new brick fire pit, a picnic table, a trash container and several chairs and a sitting stump. You can also enjoy a partial view of the pond.
110 volt outlets as well as well water is supplied. No septic.
** Special note - We have a very nice fireworks show on the property above the pond on the 4th of July weekend that all campers are invited to enjoy.

We enjoyed this property quite a bit! Although you could hear the road noise, it was still relaxing and peaceful. Our boys loved fishing off the pier and we found the property to be well kept.
We stayed in the RV spot and parked our 34’ rig on the outside of the enclosure. Our 3 month old puppies enjoyed having a place to run and we liked that we could keep them contained.
The only downside I could say is that the turn off the highway comes up on you very quickly and isn’t well-marked until it’s too late! We had GPS on but we still missed the turn the first time, so finding a spot to turn around with a big RV behind us was a bit tricky. If you plan to arrive at night, take extra care looking for the entrance.
Other than that, we had a great time and plan to come back!
The only thing that surpasses the beauty of the property is the hospitality. Our boys loved the pond and we loved the campsite. An absolute must stay location.
Highly recommend this private campground! We had such a great stay. The amenities were first class and the host was excellent. Only 7 sites available, so plenty of privacy and no overcrowding. Paddle boat and aluminum John boat made fishing so much fun as well.
Awesome sites and good fishing!! Easy access and great amenities. Duck eggs and honey were amazingly tastey
Great place with everything you need to enjoy a nice night out, the set up and lake are great, surprised it had decent sized bass. Only thing wish was a little further from main road but not a big deal.

This was our second stay here, and once again we had a wonderful time! The grounds are very clean and well maintained, despite reacent bad weather in Texas Raymond had the area mowed and well prepared for our stay. I highly recommend this spot!
