Site 7 - Bus Stop Camp Ground
The Bus Stop was well-kept and well-equipped, with a cool bathhouse, great showers, working wi-fi, good communication. Convenient enough access to Big Bend, and certainly affordable. Unfortunately, we were tent-camping and not prepared for the really really windy evenings, and decided to move on after our first night. Thumbs up, if you don’t mind the wind!

Site 10 - Bus Stop Camp Ground
Large spaces, plenty of room for multiple tents and distance from the neighbors. The hot showers and electricity made it a great stay.

Awesome stay! David was very fast at responding with any questions. Good wifi, big enough spot for two cars and giant tent. Great view of stars. Enough bathrooms that there was no wait. Working shower with bench inside to put your stuff. Easy to find spot.

A lot of amenities for cheap!
A lot of nice amenities for very affordable price. Well kept property. Didn’t get a chance to use the shower but it looked awesome. Nice to have power/plugs and a sink/wash basin right at each campsite. Wish the WiFi and water had not stopped working the morning before we checked out, but it happens!

Site 8 - The BusStop is amazing! Every amenity you would need to make your stay comfortable… site had a fire pit (wood available), table, washing station and hook up. Bathrooms and showers are awesome. So great, we came back again! Terlingua is close by, Long Draw Pizza is def worth a stop!

Incredible with dark skies!
We had such an amazing time at the Bus Stop! The campground is clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The site had a fire ring, picnic table, and a basin for washing (with potable water). It's far enough out of town to not have cell service but they provide wifi at every campsite. The bathrooms were so much more than we expected; the 3 showers were huge with warm water and 4 private toilets. David was an incredible and gracious host. He stopped by a few times to check in and see if we needed anything. He had extensive knowledge of the area's history and held so much pride in his property and projects. There were so many fossils and amazing views of the stars and milkyway! We highly recommend staying here if you are car-camping or with a small RV. We hope to be back!
