Off the Grid Ranch was a great place to stay to get away from the city and enjoy nature for a night. The owners are very friendly and there are great places around the site to sit and soak up the trees and views of the acres of ranch land.
Beautiful ranch, great hospitality
Great property and wonderful people. My kids loved seeing the free range animals, and the owners were super attentive and helpful. We hope to return.
Good vibes only!
The ranch was everything and more! Im a city girl so coming out to this ranch for some camping and stargazing was amazing. Land was big, so we got to camp out in a secluded area in the back! A great "off the grid" experience! What made the stay 10 out of 10 was definitely the hostesses! These ladies went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful. Such amazing souls! Thank yall for making us feel so comfortable there. We will most definitely be back!
Chandra and her family were extremely nice and helpful. They gave us firewood when ours ran out and even brought over two bikes for our children to play with. They were the epitome of good hostesses.
That said, the description should say that the location is on a fairly busy road. The traffic did die down after dark but the road noise was still there all night long. Also, there were shower and restroom facilities advertised. The restroom was barely useable because the doors of the closet where the camping toilet was located couldn’t be shut. Also, there were no shower facilities available. I was told that was due to the propane being out of commission so just make sure it is up and running before you book (if you need a shower!).
The spot where we camped was right between the main house and another one. During the day light, it was a bit awkward but once the sun went down, you couldn’t see either place.
Chanda was very kind and sweet, and accommodating. We were the only ones (Covid restrictions) but I bet it’s a blast with other couples. The ranch atmosphere and string lights were fun. We’re casual glampers, so the shower and bathroom were perfect as well, and with the dogs, cats, and rooster and assorted animals, the ranch always felt alive.
Had fun was in the back area secluded and alone which is what we wanted for our stay. Host was good with communication and letting us know of what was available and when others may be coming in.
We can't wait to come back!
Soon as we left we started planning our next trip here!! It is a magical place; friendly rescue animals that our kiddos loved playing with, a campsite next to a tiny pond with ducks, a beautiful private location, a super cute cabin with a clean restroom.
The hosts were amazing! One, they may be the most interesting people I have ever met, but also they were also the most friendly. They gave us food to feed the animals and showed us around, and lent us olive oil and foil (because we forgot).
We had a wonderful time here!!!!
