Eight acres of semi-kept hillcountry just outside Boerne, TX. Our land offers a good mix of native and non-native trees with plenty of open spaces for the night sky. Many level areas for dry tent camping with good views, especially sunsets. Optional tent spots offer semi seclusion. This is "dry" camping, there aren't bathrooms on site. We do have an outdoor shower that is well water temperature. One RV spot is available with water/electrical hook up. No black water dump available. Boerne is about a mile and a half away. The closest gas station is less than a mile. Boerne has a 24 hour Planet Fitness with hot water showers. Many restaurant options nearby. Three miles from Boerne Lake. Historic Luckenbach and Fredericksburg Wineries are about a half hour away. Our land is inhabited by two sweet and lively dogs. They will say hi and periodically check in but will otherwise leave you alone. We also have active bee hives on the property, but the bees are usually too busy to bother anyone.

A Dam Good View
Nigel's land is very peaceful and lush. Shade where you need it as well as sun. I woke up to happy, pleasant bird song. Nigel went out of his way to be accommodating to having a spot with electricity that wasn't planned to helping me level my rig.

A Bee Place
Nice property. Nigel loaned us gear until we could get to the store. Central location to visit San Antonio, Boerne, Fredericksburg and Austin. There was electricity to charge our phones. Dogs were friendly.

Our favorite HipCamp experience
Nigel’s property is beautiful! It’s conveniently located near the quaint town of Boerne with its fun shops and restaurants, but is away from the hustle and bustle. It’s a peaceful paradise that Nigel has curated to create one of our best HipCamp experiences. Nigel is great at communicating and very hospitable. He greeted us when we arrived and guided us and our 17-foot travel trailer to a beautiful spot among some trees surrounded by wild flowers. When Nigel learned that we’d like to have a campfire, he built a fire pit for us and provided large jugs of non-potable water for extinguishing the fire. We spent two nights on his property and will stay again, if we’re fortunate enough to return to the area. Our stay was excellent and we highly recommend Native Bee Haven.

Monkey Around
Great birding location!
We enjoyed Nigel's place during the eclipse. It was great to be away from the crowds and out in the country for that event. Nigel has done a wonderful job of sowing native plants to support pollinators, and an added bonus is the abundant bird life. If you are looking for a place to enjoy birds of the Texas Hill Country, this is a great choice!

Camping with family and friends
The Native Bee Haven property kept by Nigel was a charming and well arranged place to stay. Nigel was very accomodating and made us feel very welcomed. It's a beautiful property and we were thankful that Nigel and family share this bit of sanctuary through the Hipcamp community. We tent camped two nights and had a wonderful time with friends and family who had reserved RV sites. Location is near enough to the town of Boerne for facilities and yet feels secluded.
