Whether you're seeking a secluded ranch experience with all basic amenities in a two story barn house or a more rustic, simple bunkhouse, to camping under the stars, we have a multiple options to choose from. One of our gifts to you is we replace TV's & wifi with flickering wood stoves, camp fires, coyotes calling in the distance, a blanket of brilliant stars on a black, night sky or a full moon. My daughter, Chancie, & I have a working, grass-fed beef cattle ranch w/ abundant wildlife, 30+ mile views from our mesa & a myriad of hiking trails through our ravine. In addition to our clean, nutrient dense beef, we offer free-range chicken eggs, raw goat milk & cheese. Chancie also tends to our remuda of horses & provides horseback ranch tours at $35 per horse/hr. If you're not an experienced rider there is a required to pass, $15 'Stopping & Steering' lesson in the working pen prior to the tour. To reserve horses contact her at 3073314327 & at least 24 hours notice is required. Our menagerie of cattle, horses, goats, chickens & stock dogs provide plenty of opportunities to pick a favorite of all the curious souls that call this place home. There's so much more to experience here than just the views. If possible allow some daylight time for exploring & grilling out before settling down with your campfire under an amazing, brilliant, star or moon lit, night sky being serenaded by the coyotes. Whether you bring a tent, RV or one of our cabins we have a myriad of options available. *Alert... there is No form of technology that will bring you to the main ranch entrance where you will need to enter. You will be happy to find very clear directions with landmarks from -exit 157 off I40 for 5.5 miles South on FM 1547- under 'Directions' on Hipcamp. You may choose to make note of them prior to your arrival. ** Note: All our extras, being food items or experiences are all Cash only. There is an ATM in the town of Shamrock 11 miles away on Interstate 40 if you are unprepared, but would like to make purchases at the ranch. Thank you!
