Guadalupe River is across the road, though it's important to note that there is NO LIFEGUARD or guarantee of safety as waters rise and fall unexpectedly in the Hill Country of Texas. It is easier to access the river 1.8 miles down the road at a location the locals call "Monkey Island." (Brinks Crossing) Hungry? Less than 5 miles away are restaurants and convenience stores in Center Point, Texas for your immediate needs. Want more options?
