The sites overlook the beautiful Canadian River breaks to the north with wide open skies to the west and east to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. These are rustic sites with no improvements. We are just getting started with this so you’ll be able to help us from the ground up. If we are not in a burn ban you’re welcome to have a campfire. There will be opportunities to call up a wild coyote or watch some mule deer or an occasional antelope stroll by. You could even be awakened by the horses on their way to water in the morning and we can set up some horse riding if we have enough notice to schedule time off from the 9-5 haha. Can’t wait to see you on the prairie!

Solo female and I felt safe because the entrance gate locks. Unbelievable peace and privacy. I’ve never seen so many stars. A perfect getaway from the hustle of city life. Right off the freeway easy to get to but feels like you’re far from civilization. Loved it!!

So easy to get to, friendly host, and a really sweet dog, Ted, who guided us to the camping area inside a secured gate!

Great stay! Super helpful host and very nice dog (and horses). Great prairie site; need to be self-contained (I am). I would return!

As a solo female traveler I felt very safe here! His land offered large open plains that made it extremely easy to navigate my RV. I highly recommend!
Camped in a pasture with 4 horses and a wayward calf. Teddy the dog lead us down the road to the field. He has a great life.
The horses were super sweet. The view was incredible, but nothing beat the crystal clear skies and seeing all the vibrant starts overhear.

The land is right off I-40, and easy to find. It has a stark beauty that surprised me. Very quiet.
