The sites overlook the beautiful Canadian River breaks to the north with wide open skies to the west and east to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. These are rustic sites with no improvements. We are just getting started with this so you’ll be able to help us from the ground up. If we are not in a burn ban you’re welcome to have a campfire. There will be opportunities to call up a wild coyote or watch some mule deer or an occasional antelope stroll by. You could even be awakened by the horses on their way to water in the morning and we can set up some horse riding if we have enough notice to schedule time off from the 9-5 haha. Can’t wait to see you on the prairie!

The land is right off I-40, and easy to find. It has a stark beauty that surprised me. Very quiet.
Great spot, easy access from
I-40, friendly host, beautiful sunset, horses were a bonus!!
The camping is bare bones. You’re given a whole field to choose where you’d like to camp, there’s super cute horses as your neighbors and bunk mates. The spot is secluded, in an expansive field and far enough away from the interstate that you can barely hear it. Without wind it’s a prime spot. And since this area of Texas doesn’t get much rain it’s perfect for cowboy camping. It also makes for a great place that’s close to Amarillo.
We really enjoyed our stay at Tyler’s farm! Beautiful views of stars at night and the horses were so sweet and friendly. Highly recommend staying here if you get the chance!
Great place to enjoy the Texas prairie! Very secluded and peaceful and amazing waking up next to the horses!
It was just what we needed - a place to pull off the freeway to sleep for the night. If I went again, I would bring a pop-up for privacy, whether we are using a cathole for using the bathroom or a camp toilet.
Close to the highway and easy to find, but at the same time remote and quiet. Loved camping on a wind farm and watching the turbines. Woke up with cows outside my windows on one side and horses on the other. The farm dog was darling - I loved hanging out with him after dinner
