Boulderdash Cabin & RV Park is located on 4.8 acres with serene views on the Medina River. Be aware that river levels vary widely. Sometimes we have a lake, sometimes a river, and sometimes a stream. Check for recent photos on our FB page or on Google to get an idea of the river levels. Even when the river is low we have a great swimming hole so bring your chairs, hats, sunscreen and shades. Come spend a weekend or longer at our little slice of paradise. Remember to invite your friends or family to stay at one of our other 2 RV sites, 4 rustic tent sites, the cabin, or our retro RV “Stella” so they can enjoy some downtime too! Bandera is just 20 minutes away and there is always something going on. It offers some great restaurants, a museum, several shops and best of all, Cowboys! Really wonderful stay. We came over Christmas and it was so peaceful. With easy access to the Medina, we were able to check out the river with our paddle boards (we brought them). Great hosts, plenty of space on the site, very good Wi-Fi (important because I work from home), and easy access to Bandera. Beautiful, peaceful, remote campground. We will be back!
We loved our site! The deck looking out over the water was a wonderful surprise. Our children were staying in the cabin on the property and we had a wonderful family weekend. The camp host was beyond helpful. We had a cracked pipe in our motorhome that was preventing us from using the plumbing. Jesse helped us track down the problem, install a work-around and saved our weekend.
Hill country views on medina river
This was a great RV site! Easy access to Medina River just down the hill. At the campsite was a picnic table, fire ring, and deck with chairs overlooking the river. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Several deer visit the campsites each night. Plenty of shade from the oak trees. Nice respite from the summer heat.
Relaxing spot in texas

We had a great time at Boulderdash this weekend! Owners were great and accomodated us well. The water down from the site was a great place to swim and fish and spend the day! We are local and would love to return!
Hill country heaven
This place is amazing. We booked RV site number two. I was thrilled it is a pull through site with full hookups! As we pulled in we were met by two friendly camp hosts Paul and his wife. (sorry forgot her name) We hooked up the truck and since we got there late could not really appreciate the beauty of this property. There is an amazing deck all lit up that looked like a great place to gather and meet new friends. Come to find out we were the only campers this weekend. That's crazy but I was happy with that. When we woke up we looked outside to see deer in our campground. Bunches of them. The birds were also entertaining. Several bird feeders to bring them is a great idea. I can't remember the last time I saw more than one cardinal at a time. While ventured out to check out the property and were please what we found. One little piece of heaven in a random street in the middle of Hill Country. There is a really cool cabin down by the water with room for tent campers and the RV connects up on the hill. This place also has a bathhouse made from a horse trailer. Too Cool! Definitely haven't seen that before. We were there for a few days and Everytime I went to town, which was close, I couldn't wait to get back. Nor can I wait till I find time to return which I most certainly will.
