The ranch is was a great, beautiful place, surrounded by nature. We had a great stay, the place where we camped had a lot of privacy too and it had a great view of the stars at night. It was really fun and interesting looking at all the animals. Christine was really nice and helpful, we are definitely coming back soon.

My wife and I just recently stayed here and we had an absolutely wonderful time. It was quiet and private and Christine (the host) was very helpful and accommodating. Getting to mingle with the animals was an added bonus along with the recommendation of the cattleman's cafe nearby for breakfast.(soooo good!)We will most definitely be back to stay here again!

Christine is a lovely host, kind and open, sharing about the animals and checking in to make sure all is well. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Felt like visiting a friend. Great privacy and view of the stars without light pollution. Plenty of room for a group with multiple tents. Felt completely safe. It was my friend's first time camping and it won her over to camping, and she's ready to start planning our next adventure. Thank you Christine for making us feel so at home!
We loved our stay out on Christine's amazing farm! She was such an amazing host, we felt so welcomed and right at home. Her farm is a total paradise for animal lovers like us! All the animals were so friendly and we loved spending time with them. Christine even gave us some goat-friendly cookies to feed them and that was so fun. The alpacas were beautiful, and although shy, they definitely came up to us for some alfalfa treats and we got the chance to pet them. The camping spot is easy to get to and feels totally secluded from the farm while being conveniently close. There are trees that provide great shade and cover, and the back of the property is huge and perfect for hiking. We never wanted to leave!

I loved waking up to the fresh air and the sound of all of the animals! Wake up to three litters of puppies, their moms, baby sheep, goats and sheep was by far the best morning ever. Christine made me feel right at home.

This was a great place to take our 3-year-old on her first real camping trip. The goats, alpacas and ALL the puppies were awesome! Christine was a fantastic host and was super hospitable to us. Being so close to Dallas but still feeling like we can disconnect and enjoy the moonlight was probably one of my favorite things about Christine's property. While you may hear the occasional barking pup, it's still a very peaceful place to relax and spend the weekend.

We had a great stay. Christine is a very gracious host. She took our kids around each of the pens and let us feed and pet the animals. Camping space was tucked in the trees at the back of the property. It was private and peaceful. We loved it!. We were able to build a fire. It requires a walk from where you park your car to the back, but Christine let us use a wagon and it wasn't difficult. Our kids are begging to go back!
P.S. We also bought some honey from Christine and it is beyond delicious!
The host was very kind and friendly. She showed us the land by taking us through the different areas allowing us to choose a good spot for our personal experience. The land had another small family that camped one night while we were there, Christine was kind enough to make us aware before we got to the location. The atmosphere was clean, and it felt as though we were far away as in being in the mountains but not far at all from the town. I highly recommend the location as words cannot describe the wonderful energy that was present. She does offer animal tours but we had to leave due to weather before we were able to experience the full tour. She did give us a quick one upon arrival and I really enjoyed connecting with the animals. We will be booking again very soon! Quick and sweet getaway without having to travel too far from home for us. Beautiful
Nice primitive camping near dallas
Great place for primitive camping near Dallas. Christine has her house/animals at the front of the property and then several acres that are secluded by a tree line with multiple locations to camp. She had mowed a couple of paths for us to walk around the back of the property which made it easier to navigate. You can camp closer to the house (and dogs) for comfort, or go way to the back of the property for complete isolation. She also has a nice rolling wagon to help move all your camping gear, as it’s about 1/3-1/4 mile from your car to campsites. Very private. Christine was also very friendly and spent time with us for an “animal encounter” where we got to meet/feed her alpacas and goats. Lots of dogs on the property to keep the coyotes away. Our dog also had lots of fun playing with the property dog Blue. There is potable water at the front of the property too. She also has her own bee hives and often has honey for sale. Great place to camp for a few days.
