Had a great experience camping at Jerry's land. He was very friendly and informative. Campsite was peaceful, clean and had everything I needed. Will definitely stay here again!

Great spot. They have 3 different campsites. This one is off by itself at the top of the hill. It's probably about 50-100yrds from the common area, but you can park your vehicle right at the site. Water and electric are available at the common area.

Barb and Jerry were wonderful hosts and the property was gorgeous. You get to experience the area in a “real,” was vs a more touristy and contrived way. I hiked, fished and cooked in the “Pond House,” which had power, hot plates, cooking utensils etc. It rained for most of my stay and I was camping alone so Barb and Jerry also shared several home cooked meals with me that were wonderful. Jerry also helped me set up my fishing pole, as I am inexperienced. I can’t wait to come back in the summer time when I can get out of the tent more. Thanks for your hospitality 🙏

Barb and Jerry are great hosts and the campsite was great. Be forewarned...the neighbors have coon dogs and roosters. If you're a light sleeper, could be an issue. Fortunately, God granted me the grace to hear the dogs as though they were an orchestra warming up for a symphony and I was able to laugh about it the whole time. Be sure to listen for the owls and coyotes at night. Great spot.

It was a pleasant stay with decent privacy. There were dogs barking at night but we did not mind. Jerry was very friendly and it was worth the price!

We had such an amazing time, we are going back next month. The property is beyond beautiful and has everything you need and more. Jerry and Barbara have create an experience. Any site you stay at will be private with amazing views rain or shine. It's spirituality cleansing and what everyone needs for your soul. The stars were insane. Jerry went above and beyond to make my birthday one of the best ones yet. He is really down to earth, knowledgeable and funny and we had a blast speaking with him. They are a lot of things to do in that area as well, but we didn't want to leave the property! My review won't do it justice. If you're even thinking about booking and reading this, Do it!!! Thank y'all again for allowing us to stay experience your home!

Dynamite! (with two cautions!!!)

First of all, the location is great! Barbara was wonderful, provided excellent local information, and was attentive as hostess. The general location is also dynamite. The fishing pond, kayaks, showers, common spaces, etc. are wonderful. This really is a great location and don't pass it up. Gatlinburg was a quick drive, swimming holes and waterfalls abound, and even if you just stayed on site you would be happy with your stay.

TWO CAUTIONS:

1. DO NOT BRING A TRAILER. We made it up the hill, but barely. It isn't just RVs but all trailers that should avoid Sunflower. Want to stay here? Pick the waterfall site.

2. IF YOU STAY IN SUNFLOWER BRING SLEEP AIDS. I have no idea how often this is the case, but the sunflower site is very close to the neighbors' hounds. Two of the four nights this was fine, but the other two, there were rumors of a bear in the hollow. The hounds were at it all night long. One of the nights we took TylenolPM and were fine. The other night ... let's just say we needed a nap the next day.

Overall, I would recommend the site nearest the pond or the Waterfall site over Sunflower.

Nice campsite in a higher elevation so the temps were perfect in mid-summer. Great star-gazing and kind, generous hosts. Close to seemingly endless possibilities for things to do!
