Nice place, close to pigeon forge. Cute outhouse with real toilet and hot water shower, but creek was clean and deep enough in parts to bath. Kids loved fishing and playing in creek. Shade with big field for stargazing. Good communication with host, very gracious.
Had a wonderful time!
Loved being so close to the creek. Nice field for the dogs to run in. Very accommodating. Great view of moon and stars. We went to the wildlife sanctuary and paddled to Cruze landing. A nice 5 mile paddle. Super great location.
Easy stay with essentials!
Campsite 1 is the best. Melinda built a nice shower and toilet on site with warm water. The field is beautiful and the stream is clean. We caught a fish (tiny)! Easy access to Cosby for hikes.
Peaceful, secluded, loved it!
Peaceful camping spot against a creek. We ended up staying in camping plot #1 and it was fantastic. I recommend this spot. It was private, off to the side, and up against a creek with a little “beach” area to hang out. The actual camping spot had foliage cover above which was great for staying cool during the day and it was located next to a large field, which was nice to watch the stars in at night. It was clean with running water from a hose, a little grill, and a bathroom situation set up for us in a tent. So wonderfully perfect. Our pup had the best time. They have a firewood option, but it’s wood that has set outside. It still did the job but if you’re not as good at starting and keeping a fire going, I’d buy and bring wood that’s been well dried out like at Kroger. 10/10 would book again.
Loved this remote campsite!
Melinda was so welcoming and responsive! GPS took us straight there and the sites were numbered and easy to find. The site we chose (3) was larger than expected and right on the creek. It did sit behind a home but the field is large and it is so far away from the cities it felt more private than many other places we’ve stayed. There were only a few cars that passed on the road during our two night stay, but it was right in the middle of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg with convenient driving to all three. One of our best Hipcamp rentals yet. Definitely recommend!!
Great spot! coming back!
We had a great time at melindas! There is plenty of space between the campsites and she has a huge field where you can enjoy the beautiful mountains. The campsites are along a slow moving river which is peaceful in the mornings. Melinda is very accommodating and if you need anything she can help!
