Joey and his family were amazing. Beautiful property and welcoming environment. Our dog was able to roam freely and we had space to spread out. Definitely booking again

Seven Samurai Spirits 30 Acre Wood
This was a nice, private, wooded campsite with a fire ring, charcoal grill, and picnic table. It was exactly what we were looking for on our way from Nashville to Bowling Green. I will echo what other reviewers have said, this is not easy to find. The location given from Hipcamp is NOT correct. Joey provides a video, but many of us schedule while on the road and downloading isn’t so easy. Why not just place a marker at the drive?
Also, this site is FULL of poison ivy so be aware.

Seven Samurai Spirits 30 Acre Wood
Great hosts - super gracious and hospitable. Loved the coverage of the shaded wooded area but it was completely overrun with poison ivy and infested with ticks. Despite dressing appropriately and spraying bug spray multiple times a day, our daughter still got poison ivy and we all got several tick bites.
We moved to the open field because of this and would recommend you do the same.
Otherwise it had everything we needed including gracious, communicative hosts.

beautiful, quiet property with great view. loved the chickens all over the yard. Not the best for large camper van since the level spot is over a big hill. Also not easy to find.

Private and safe campsite
Joey and his son were very nice and welcoming. Camp site was tucked into a small wood line away from the house and felt private and safe. Only complaint is the house was tricky to find, especially in the dark, and the campsite was not obvious to find without help. The google maps “get directions” button did not lead us to the right spot, but a near by road/other house. Great spot, just be sure to get specific directions over the phone prior to arriving.
