Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

Camp on our beautiful secluded property, next to the dam with lots of fire wood. Explore the nature around you and spot Wombats, Wallabies, Echidnas, Tassie Devils, possums and most of the native birds we know in this beautiful part of the country. ALL CAMPERS MUST HAVE THEIR OWN TOILET FACILITIES WHILST CAMPING, USING THE PROPERTY AS A “TOILET” WILL NO BE TOLERATED.Camp on our beautiful secluded property, next to the dam with lots of fire wood. Explore the nature around you and spot wombats, wallabies, echidnas, Tassie Devils, possums and most of the native birds we know in this beautiful part of the country. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water supply. Admire the night sky as you warm your feet around the campfire. The beaches are 10min away, so are exceptional wineries, fresh oysters and local produce. Pets welcome.

Tranquil at Wombat

Lovely site, well maintained, easy access and great directions. The site was very tranquil and we received a super welcome from the host’s daughters who informed us about the local wildlife and also best views for sunrise and sunset.

Beautiful property and place to stay, loved the girls popping down on the quad bike to let us know the site (and how to kill leeches!) with their fur buddy Hunter who came up for a cuddle! 😊
