Enjoy the quiet life in Tasmania. Go for day drives and be back at night. Launceston is only just over 2 hours drive. Or just sit under the trees and let life pass you by. We came here and never left.
Dog friendly but dogs must be kept under control. Campers need their own amenities as there is no toilet or shower. Closest public toilets are at Wayatinah Village, about 10 kms away, where there is also a pub where you can get meals at night and a general store/post office/fuel outlet that is open for a couple of hours each day.
