My husband and I stayed overnight at Black Elk while making our way cross country. We stopped here after visiting Mt Rushmore, which is just about 15 minutes from the site. The grounds and facilities are SPOTLESS and the hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. We would highly recommend staying here, and can’t wait to let all of our friends and family know about this gem!

Dan and Lora are great host!!! Super nice, friendly and just lovely people. The Black Elk Resort is a special place. The Tap Room is a super cute place to unwind after a long day of exploring. Dan makes a great fire each night in the fire pit which is pretty because the grounds are beautiful. It’s 5 stars!!! It’s a must stay!!! We are planning our trip back next year. Thanks again, Dan & Lora!!!
