Quiet 11 acre Produce/hobby farm 8 miles south of Interstate 90 and 23 miles west of Sioux Falls. A large garden and several pets including Dogs, Cats, Chickens, Peacocks, and Guinea's. Out back is a small pond frequented by a variety of birds and animals, ducks, geese, hawks, woodpeckers, owls, muskrat, and pheasants to name a few. This pond, while very low right now, has several fish and turtles you can feed.

I currently have 3 RV site's with electricity and water available. All 3 sites have a 30 amp electrical service and rural water and Wi-fi is available throughout the camp. Sites are spaced 50 feet apart and each site has a picnic table and firepit with a small amount of firewood included and additional firewood that can be purchased.

I mowed a short walking/hiking/biking nature trail around and through the property that winds around the pond and a small old quarried stone rail road bridge. A great place for a short stroll and to check out some of the wildlife that frequent the pond.

The new shower shack has 2 separate 3/4 modern bathrooms with hot water showers and flushing toilets to be shared by all guests. Adjoining the shower shack is the "Clubhouse" it has a sink for dishes as well as a home-made arcade game with many 80's classic video games.

I have a large garden and often have extra produce to share depending on the season, past guests were offered tomato's, peppers, and squash along with farm fresh free range eggs all at no charge.

Lake Vermillion State Park is 6 miles away with swimming, fishing and paddling options. Thunder Valley Dragstrip in Marion is 10 miles away with weekend drag-racing. I-90 Speedway (dirt track) is about 20 miles and have 3 classes of stock cars on Saturday nights. The Ortman Chiropractic Clinic in Canistota is 6 miles. Sioux Falls and the Sanford Premier Center is about 25 miles. Great Pheasant hunting in every direction with public hunting area's near by.

Our Girl Scout troop had our first ever camp out at Uncle B’s farm. We had a camper and slept in tents. The girls had so much fun the whole time! Playing with the animals was the biggest favorite. The girls enjoyed playing outside in the open space. Brian helped us get our campfire going where we made hot dogs over the fire for dinner and had s’mores for snacks. They even got to enjoy an outdoor movie before they went to bed. Overall a great time! Brian was a great host!

What an awesome stay! So nice to hook up to power and water and so close to 90. From firewood and fresh produce from the garden to a nice new shower house, Brian has set up a road trippers dream. We got in after dark and had no trouble pulling in or turning around our 25ft trailer. Highly recommend Uncle B’s to anyone!

This was a perfect ending to our trip . Our family loved it . Upon arrival we were given farm fresh eggs and a s’more kit ! A bundle of wood was included as well . He was kind enough to share some of his garden vegetables too. Our son loved playing with the animals. The host also played a projected movie outside which was a nice touch. Definitely a different yet fun experience . We were glad we chose hipcamp

I can not say enough great things about Uncle Bs place! We got into our spot no problem with a 40ft class A towing a car. Brian was such a great host, he had a special treat for our kids and dogs, fresh eggs and fresh veggies from his garden. This is a must stop if you are passing through. My kids loved all the animals on the farm. To top off our night Brian put on an out door movie and made us popcorn. Great stay we loved it and will be back!

My wife and I along with our 3.5 month old newborn stayed at Uncle B's during our cross country trip west. Uncle B and his place are fantastic! Uncle B greeted ups upon arrival, provided us with some eggs, smore stuff, and wood for a fire. He has a garden just for campers, two bath shower house which was very clean, and he did movie nights for the guests. Also easy drive in to Sioux Falls.

Uncle B is clearly very passionate about what he is doing and it shows. He goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and to ensure your stay is a memorable one. Thank you Uncle B, and Young Weston thanks you for his little match box car :).

Hands down would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Uncle B's Farm and wholeheartedly recommend it!!! From the time we first arrived, to our departure; Brian could not have been more gracious, friendly, and helpful. Not only did each campsite come with it's own firewood, a jug of water to put the fire out, and a hot dog/marshmallow fork but Brian also brought around the fixings for s'mores. In addition he also brought around fresh eggs for our breakfast, treats for our dogs, and on several occasions, offered all the tomatoes and peppers we could ever want. Beautiful country setting and quiet not counting the occasional rooster crow or peacock call; and plenty to room to spread out. The dogs especially enjoyed the walking trails on the property. We cannot with all honesty say enough good things about our experience!

What a great spot! We had such an enjoyable 3 night stay. Brian was an amazing host. I had messaged him some questions before our trip, and he responded very promptly. He greeted us upon arrival with a welcome kit of s’mores supplies, fresh farm eggs and a bundle of wood for our fire pit. He also had a table set up with fresh from the garden veggies that he encouraged us to take as much as we wanted. He introduced us to all of his farm animals friends, which we immediately fell in love with. We loved watching outdoor movies on the big screen each night with the best movie theater popcorn he popped fresh and a good selection of boxed candy. There is plenty of space at each campsite and the bathrooms are very clean. Brian was always around if you needed anything. You can tell that Brian loves having his hipcamp!

Uncle B's is a great place to either stay for a few days or simply use it as place to rest and recoup for a night. We stayed here for 4 nights in our 36' 5th wheel. Brian is a stellar host from his initial communication with you after booking to awaiting your arrival and getting you set up, as well as settled in. The property is inviting and farm rustic complete with chickens, turkeys, guineas and a curious duck. All add to the ambience of being in the country as compared to a crowded RV park. The fresh eggs and veggies Brian provided were awesome, as well as the outdoor movie night opportunity and use of the bathhouse. We highly recommend you consider Uncle B's for your stay when in the Sioux Falls area!
