Such a cozy little nook to camp in. Plenty of shade, faucet with running water, a river to fish out of, and bathroom on site. Bugs weren't bad at all, host was super friendly, and gator sighting was cool and felt very safe because campsite 6 feet above the bank and gators kept their distance, just don't let your dogs swim lol 10/10 would recommend

This was one of my favorite camping trips. Very clean and quiet. My boys and I had a fantastic time. Will be visiting again.

Beautiful site, as described. Scott was a kind host. A little farther (30 min?) than I thought to Myrtle, but then again, nice to have some distance.

I enjoyed my overnight stay on Scott's property! Camping space was a clear grass field, easy to find. Perfect spot to stay on your way to or from Myrtle Beach coming from Colombia or Florence SC.

Thompson farm is an oasis all of its own. It is a very beautiful and peaceful piece of land with a river and a bunch of fun farm animals. Owners are very welcoming and friendly as well, enjoyed all of our chats with them. Would definitely love to come back and stay here.

There must have been a mix up in the add it didn’t match up to the description I read , it was ok just not what I expected , and Apple Maps got me lost and they knew that could happen , might as well tell people before hand

Thanks so much for staying with us. Apple maps has had an issue with our location within the past month and we are actively trying to resolve that issue. Although Google maps and also the address on the reservation is listing is correct. We hope to see you again in the future.

I loved camping directly next to the Waccamaw River, what a peaceful and relaxing view! Scott and his wife Christina were very friendly and accommodating. I brought my dog and there were plenty of places to walk him around and get exercise. Plenty of wildlife (alligators!) and farm animals to view. I definitely recommend this location and will be back soon!
