This was one of our all time favorite camping spots! The camp site is gorgeous and right on the salt marsh. Outhouse was clean too. Could be tough to access in heavy rains without 4wd but we had no issue with our minivan. Would very highly recommend!
I enjoyed my first night so much I decided to stay another night! I was car camping on a week long solo road trip and I felt completely safe. The sunset was beautiful and everything was really nice. Even the out house was nice! Lol I would stay again in a heartbeat! Thank you Linda for such a beautiful experience.🙏🏼🌍❤️
Pretty much as expected
Staying at Hanscombe Point Plantation campsites was prettymuch what I expected from the website photos aof the woods nd descriptions. There are 6 dites with four in the woods along the creek and two at the edge where the meadow meets the woods. Three of the sites were occupied when we stayed on a Sunday night. We had ample space to not feel crowded. We did have a herd of water buffallo stroll close by in the morning which was fun and unique. We met the host only breifly and she eas quite nice. Wr stayed only one night but will stay again.
Great place - a half dozen or so campsites located near the creek. There was only one other camper there during our visit (early Oct), so it was very peaceful and lots of privacy. The location is gorgeous and generally seems like a great place for campers of all type (solo, couples, families). Definitely worth bringing a hammock if you have one.
Perfect stay. Very peaceful, cows visited our campsite numerous times throughout the night which i thought was so funny. It is well maintained and peaceful. The creek would only be good to fish on high tide.
Location is a farm
Really enjoyed all the animals and the seclusion. Unique camp spots with plenty of room. The name is not Hanscombe Plantation. The signs are for a farm. Would definitely stay again. Lots of fun walking around the pasture.
