We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay on Site 10. Spacious, level site with easy pull through access and picnic shelter as a real bonus! Well kept campground offering a quiet getaway spot. James was a great host and pleasure to visit with. His many hours of work in developing a unique place with his personal touch don't go unnoticed. As he continues to expand and develop new sites, more campers will be able to experience the peaceful surroundings that we found. Looking forward to a return trip in June. Thanks !!!
We liked the rustic nature of the place. It has great potential to grow as it develops. Do not follow GPS to get to the destination. The owner has updated information for future campers. Not a whole lot to go see but was nice to get a break from busy city life.
The stay was amazing! Quiet little gem by the creek!

Huge campsites with a lot of room between campsites so you are not right up against your neighbor, very neat & clean campground. The woods have old growth trees, & we especially loved the old Cedar trees. We stayed 2 weeks & it was so relaxing especially since we have a Chihuahua that has been away from people for the past year so he was yapping more than usual, but we were the only camper for most of the time. We forgot our fishing rods this trip so we just enjoyed walking down to the slow moving creek/river where you can put a small boat in the water. The fishing must have been good because there were some people fishing we noticed. There was a small restroom next to our site & it was very clean & cute with a stained glass window up in the top, but no shower, but we were in a camper with a shower. We camp mostly in Spring & Fall & will definitely enjoy going back when the leaves turn in Fall. It will definitely be our favorite place for that area. Thank You James for building a great campground with attention to detail!

If you want that feeling of being really out there, and a rustic handmade environment to camp in, do stay here. We really appreciated the southern hospitality and the attention to good lighting, which many campgrounds overlook, punishing you with ridiculous bright security lights. Who wants ugly memories? Thank you, James!

Just saw these night photos posted and had to say thanks. They are really close to how they actually look at night. My camera couldn't take a good one. All I could get were blurs not worthy of posting. Thanks
We thought it was clean, very nice, and very private! The host was very accommodating and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a nice full hook up RV site!
Place was beautiful and secluded. James has dones ton of work for this place to come together. 10 out of 10 . Spent Thanksgiving here this year and he made sure he could help anyway he could

Everything seems to take too much work but Benji is another who says keep doing what you're doing.

Thanks for your review. I hope to add lots of things to the park. Currently, on rodneysbigcreekrvpark FB page, there is a bike route mapped. If you like cycling that could be interesting. Last year some folks loved riding their electric bikes around as well. Don't forget you can explore Big Creek by foot or boat. Walk all day, Paddle all day or get an electric one and ride all day. 78 square miles out there. Thanks for your visit. Come again someday.
