Site 2 'bush camp'
We really enjoyed our stay, but the time of year and weather made it a fairly dry and dusty experience. A lot of cow droppings around the site too. All of this was expected, but the conditions could have been better. Not really your fault, because it’s a great area. We really loved the company of a group of cattle that set up camp near us. There were a few staring contests with our dog.

We loved our stay on this property. Beautiful location. Very quiet. Campsites well spaced out so felt very private - just some friendly cows as neighbours.
Heather, the host, was extremely helpful.
We will definitely come back.

Site 5 with shower tree
Quiet secluded campsite, next to the dry creek bed. Nice shaded areas and fire pit had large sides which was great. Cows and their calves came and camped under the tree opposite us at night, which was awesome to see.
Did a 4wd tag-along tour up the range which was great, Brian was a great guide.
We had a shower setup that we rigged into the "shower tree" which worked perfect for us!
It was warm this weekend, and flies were a little friendly, but they didn't bother us and they disappeared at night when the temperature dropped which made for perfect evenings looking at all the stars in the clear night sky!
Close enough to town for supplies when required.
Would come back again!

The land is rugged and ideal for retreating from urban life and responsibilities. I have an off road vehicle and drove some of the tracks. It tested it and its driver. I will be returning to drive the mountain tracks at a later date.

Site 5 with shower tree
Not great.
I thought it was overpriced. So many flies and insects at night were unbearable. Lots of cow poo everywhere, couldn't this be raked up a bit? Shower was just a bucket, the canvas bag was missing. No toilet paper in toilet. Maybe a few touches could improve it and make it more welcoming for the paying camper.

A great insight into the outback with amazing views to the hills and beyond. The sites were clean and as described. The proximity to the wind farms was interesting and judging by the winds that whipped up, i can see why they were so close.
