It’s a great spot on the ridge amongst the trees. Vans or trailers will need subtle blocking to level them. It’s only a down hill walk through the bush to the loo.
If you bring a trailer you must be confident in reversing into the site.
We love our bushland and animal life, and try to do our best in preserving the natural beauty of our environment and let people enjoy the sounds of birds and nature. We would prefer to share this with like minded people.
The dam is a lovely 10 minute walk under trees if you feel like a swim, it's the perfect spot to cool off in summer.
There is a fire pit, firewood is free to collect. Small chainsaw permitted.
We would appreciate that you read and agree with our property rules before you book or request to book. You can read them on the next screen after you put in your dates and amount of people, don't worry you wont be charged or locked in on the booking at that stage.

Biking
Wamuran has just recently openend the Rail trail to Caboolture, which is a lovely easy bike trail along the old railway track.
Hiking
There is lovely hikes near us, Ngun ngun, Tibrogargan which are the Glass house mountains. There is also a Wamuran Loop.
Swimming
There is usually a few pool noodles near the dam for your use
Wildlife watching
Kingfishers, Bee eaters, various parrots, Tawny frog mouths, goannas and we have even seen some sugar gliders but they are shy.

Mountainous
If you feel like a walk up the hill for sunrise it has a wonderful view of the glasshouse mountains.

I tried out my new tarp and had a very enjoyable time.. even with a forecast of rain..
Didja was a beautiful spot. The composting toilet was far enough away that we couldn't smell it, but close enough that you didn't feel like you were going on a hike every time you went to the loo!
It rained all three days we were at didja, but it was beautiful. Covered by tall trees and being far enough away from other sites that you couldn't hear them. Doris was absolutely delightful; she held on to our firewood so it wouldn't get wet and delivered it after we arrived. On our departure day she opened an older track so we could easily get out as some other cars had gotten stuck on the new track!
If camping with a rooftop tent, would recommend levellers as it can be hard to get a flat spot for more than one car (we had two).
Great hosts who always stopped for a chat and full of knowledge of wildlife, super quiet spots and great for a recharge on the weekend
Had a nice overnighter at didja.. with a warm fire and lovely grilled dinner..
The peace and quiet was great, despite the rain. Will always go back. Plenty of sites to choose from.

I don't think words can describe how amazing this stay was, before we had even booked Doris was extremely helpful as a host going above and beyond to open the site for us at almost last minutes notice, then through an absolute miracle Peter helped us find the entrance to the camping area (because I hadn't read the directions correctly) I honestly don't know what else I can say apart from 100% recommend this site and honestly any of the sites they offer, if you have a trailer make sure your confident in reversing it for this site and you have levelling ramps.
We loved this site and can not wait to camp with Peter and Doris again
I love this place I keep coming back. It's the perfect place to relax in nature. The dogs love the freedom of the property .
The property is always clean. The camps are far apart . I drive a 4wd so access is easy . Some camp spots are accessible by 2wd. Doris will recommend a site for your needs.
The drop toilets are clean, always have toilet paper, soap and water.
Doris is great , a dog lover, friendly and very accommodating . Thank you for the dragon fruit it was beautiful 💜
