Pet-friendly coastal camping

Our coastal property is flat and grassy, with a number of mature gums to provide shady cover. You'll be sharing your back yard with up to 30 kangaroos that visit our grass for breakfast and afternoon tea (sometimes they're happy to lounge all day), duck families, koalas, kites, spoonbills, kingfishers, cockatoos and parrots.
Relax by the dam or jump in with you

Relax by the dam or jump in with your four-legged friend for a dip (the large one is brackish, the other fresh).
Walk across the road to the Pumicestone Passage to pump yabbies and have a fish or BBQ on the water's edge. We have two boat ramps in town - one accesses Pumicestone Passage directly and has had a recent upgrade, with large double-sided pontoon. The other accesses Ningi Creek and both have plenty of room for parking, with amenities adjacent.
Our township is small and quiet, with a relaxing vibe. Although you'll feel miles away from everything, there's a pub (with great value Thirsty Camel bottle shop attached) and takeaway store in town - best fish 'n' chips you've had in a very long time!
We have a chemist for any necessities and our local Drakes Supermarket is only 15mins away if you need to stock up.
Proximity to local attractions and facilities:
Australia Zoo - 35mins Aussie World - 40mins
Sandstone Point Hotel - 30mins (under 10mins by boat - public pontoon at the hotel)
Bribie surf beach - 40mins
Glasshouse Mountains National Park - 20mins
The Big Pineapple - 48mins
The Big Fish Tavern - 12mins
Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology - 17mins

Being by the water, it's recommended you pack your insect spray, though we find the regular sea breezes tend to help keep them at bay.
Dogs are welcome, though must be kept quiet and under close control and not be allowed to harass the wildlife.
No loud music permitted at any time (it should not be audible to fellow campers or neighbours).
Fires are permitted in line with current local fire regulations.
Visitors need to be entirely self-sufficient - no running water, toilets or showers are available at this stage, though toilets are only a brief drive down the Esplanade (extremely well maintained and always smell fresh).
A 20L container of filtered rainwater can be supplied at a cost of $10 if required. (Container to be returned upon departure.)
Firewood on site is available for purchase, though is limited, so we recommend BYO.
## Note: Please ensure you have cash for water and timber, as we do not yet have card facilities available.

Super friendly hosts
Went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible,
Will definitely be going back.
Loved waking up to the peace and quiet and abundance of kangaroos throughout the day an especially in the mornings.
Highly recommend this stay if you looking for a quiet weekend away.
Awesome place to just sit, relax and unwind.
Tahnee and Tim were very friendly and accommodating.

Great hosts. It was very relaxing and we had a great time. Looking forward to coming back again.
A beautiful serene atmosphere not crowded or overly noisy. Wonderful friendly hosts who genuinely care about their oasis and guests.

Tahnee and Tim were the best, We found ourselves in a horrible situation and Tim and Tahnee saved the day, We cannot thank you guys enough. Your kindness and consideration made our stay complete. Thank you so so much.
We had a fantastic maiden voyage with our van. Beautiful property with really friendly hosts! Loved the kangaroos & ducks - and a nice walk down to the waterfront too. We will definitely be returning, especially as it is so close for my parents to visit
