Great piece of property. 6 of us had a blast. Appalachian trail just a couple miles up the road. Hans was accommodating but only spoke to him for about 15 minutes which in my opinion was perfect. Will definitely go again

Hans was incredibly helpful and responsive to all my questions leading up to the trip. The location was a few minutes from an Appalachian Trail Head, and if you follow the additional instructions provided in the trip listing easy to find. Porta potty was clean with toilet paper and our hosts came down to check on us once we got settled. Would recommend!

We stayed two nights and it was a great spot. The camping area is a large beautiful open field. The host was a great communicator, gave good directions and was very helpful.

Hans was very communicative and helpful - he provided a very clear map of the camping grounds and called to give directions how to get to the specific site we camped at. We had no trouble at all setting up camp even though we arrived pretty late at night. The grounds was very pretty in the morning, especially with the fall foliage. We brought our own firewood for the fire pit.

Beautiful camp site, way better than expected. 10/10 recommend this site. Close to town but far enough out that you are secluded. The hosts are wonderful. Perfect for any group get away. We will come back for sure.

Unfortunately we were not able to stay because the rain made the ground very soft and our Ram 2500 and 30' travel trailer sunk in a bit and made tracks in the lawn. The only water is at the house and so we could not get to it without making more tracks through the nice lawn. It had rained pretty hard all morning. If we had some water in our tank we would have stayed because it's a nice open grassy field surrounded by woods on a quiet back road. We were very disappointed that we had to leave.

This hip camp was just what we needed to relax and enjoy the beautiful mountain view and sounds of geese. Our host was very friendly. We would love to come back again.
