We stayed in site 2
The good:
The campsite was beautiful. There was a little well type thing with a koi fish in it, a large pond within eyeshot of our campsite, and the trees were beautiful. We were able to find a lot of wood surrounding our site to burn for extra firewood and the fire pit was very large, the site was level, and the owners supplied us with chairs and a picnic table to use. There’s also a park right beside the campsite which has a pretty lake.
The bad: the site was really really far away from our cars. They provided us with carts to use to transport things from our cars to the campsite and back which was very helpful, but the walk was at least 200 yards and mostly uphill. There was a hiking trail right behind the campsite so there were a number of hikers walking past throughout the day, but it wasn’t too big of a deal especially if you want to go on a quick hike.
Overall we had fun, but I feel like it was a little pricey for what we got.

Great Seculded campsite, very easy access to park that borders property so you have tons of area to explore. Camp store is a very nice extra amentity for beginner campers who forgot something/prefer to use bathroom instead of the great outdoors. Thanks Jen and Tom

Nice hosts and property but we never would have booked if we knew that we would have to lug everything over 100 yards or so. Should have mentioned so people can decide if that would work for them

What a beautiful property and lovely hosts. Wise open spaces, forest and copse of trees spread theoughout with fire rings. Even though it rained a lot, the $10 dollar firewood was nice and dry. A good lot of firewood for the money too. When you augment that with foraged wood from the rorest, we were able to enjoy a really awesome fire after the rain stopped. I highly recommend this location. I will be back to try some of the other sites too.

Scenic Turtle Ridge was pretty cool. The host was nice and we had a good time overall. My mixed review has more to do with our camping location (Camp 4) than anything else. When we arrived to our spot we noticed that there wasn’t really a flat place to put our tent. As mentioned in the description, there are chickens and geese on the property, which is a neat part of the experience. Camp 4 is also a lot closer to the chicken coops, so it was quite loud through most of the night. The roosters started crowing at like 4 am. The combination of these two things meant that we just didn’t sleep very well. We enjoyed ourselves though and may look forward to coming back to a different campsite in the future.

We do say in our overview that we are a working farm so animal noises are to be expected.

We stayed at campsite #2 - which was nice and secluded. Jen was a fantastic host and helped me out tremendously when I changed the number of campers. I would def recommend!
