Welcome to my property! This place has been a labour of love. You will be staying in a small structure that was hand built with mortis and tenon joints whittled out of tools that were handed down, built just for the job, or refitted with hand made handles. The building is not insulated so the temperature inside is pretty much the temperature outside. There is a woodstove in the barn for chilly nights. Other features include a stone campfire pit (firewood and kindling starter is an additional $10 per bundle), open pergola, outdoor shower (seasonal), native pollinator garden, opportunity for on site yoga in an open air barn loft.
There is no running water in the building but the building does have full electricity. You will have access to an outdoor shower and potable drinking water from a hose. Port-a-john on site, super clean, and serviced weekly.
Queen size bed with protective mattress and pillow coverings provided. Must bring your own linens or sleeping bags.

Jennifer’s place was so lovely, clean and full of comfort. The cabin and the property is gorgeous and welcoming. My bestie and I had a fun night walking the local trails, sitting by the fire and watching the lightening bugs from the hammock and poach swing. We can’t wait to return!
Amazing animal friendly getaway
Dude, Girl! Ranch was amazing! The space is absolutely beautiful with lots of space to spread out. The barn is incredible to admire and was very comfortable to sleep in. The host even offered us a variety of comfortable chairs and wood was all set up waiting at the fire pit. The area was quiet, peaceful, and extremely dog friendly.
The host Jennifer went absolutely above and beyond in kindness, assistance, patience, and hospitality. She took the time to walk us around the property and was so welcoming. Unfortunately our dog was injured during our stay off the property, and when we returned in a panic, Jennifer immediately sprung into action to help us and offered us medical supplies, support, and even offered to watch our pup the next day. I honestly do not know what we would have done without her help.
I would absolutely recommend this Hipcamp, we hope to return soon, this is one of the best places I have stayed in PA!
The barn loft us extremely beautiful and the property is well kept by Jennifer. She is a great host that provides you with insight into the area, and is accommodating. Plenty of room for dogs and a beautiful fenced in area for them to play fetch. Definitely check out dude girl ranch.
Pup friendly cabin
Jen’s Dude Girl cabin is even better than the pictures and description. The location is fantastic for a lot of fun things to do in the area. Her recommendations in the post were also very helpful.
Jen is a fantastic host, super friendly and has a beautiful place. I look forward to returning.
My fiancé and I wanted to getaway for the weekend and we found this cute property about a half hour from the biggest Cabela’s in the US, we love Jennifer and her dog timber so much, her whole property is dog friendly from the barn you stay in has a doggie door that leads to a kennel attached to the barn so your dog won’t have to bother you to go out in the middle of the night, she has a completely fenced in area for your dog to run around in to !
One of our favorite things is the outside shower it’s hot and cold water it’s just so perfect. Right around the corner of the barn she has her garden and fire pit with an open pergola. She has been very helpful with providing wood or anything we may need like ketchup or mustard for our hotdogs we cooked over the fire. We love the barn ! It has a queen sized bed in the loft it did get a little hot at night but she provided a box fan for us and it was perfect. It also has a mini bar area and a wood burning stove ! We will definitely be back in the winter to experience that and all the changing colors of the trees.
