Beautiful property. incredible wild flower field with paths and cricles cut out for fire pit and a small greenhouse "cabin" with a bed. altbough its close tonthe owners house it still feels very private. Beyond the feild in the woods is s great creek to bath in or relax near. our dog loved swimming. Lori was very hospitable. Great responsive host!
We adored our stay. it was like camping in a monet painting. The hosts were very attentive and gracious; the greenhouse was absolutely adorable. Our friend group and the dogs loved it! We want to come back first thing next year. Best campsite ever!

This was our first hipcamp experience and it might just be our new favorite thing! Lori was a gracious host who welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a welcome basked of apples and some candy treats, which was a thoughtful touch. She even went above and beyond to provide more firewood - it was such a cold day/night. The views from the property are beautiful. I'd recommend staying here, especially if you are planning a visit to Hawk Mountain. It's an easy 15-20 minute drive.

Lori was a wonderful host through her consistent communication & welcoming personality- she even had a welcome basket and hand-written note for us when we arrived! It was wonderful to be away from the city & see the beautiful night sky from our campsite.
Considering this site is basically camping in Lori's front yard, I wasn't sure what to expect-
But it was great! It was a beautiful drive in through the small town and rolling hills, and we had more than enough privacy with all the tall sunflowers and grassy areas surrounding our little site. With 6 people, two dogs, and two tents, we had plenty of space to spread out and relax! We were able to take a little hike around the surrounding area, as well as watch the moon rise over the hill opposite our cozy little campfire while we roasted marshmallows and hot dogs together. A very nice little get away with a relaxing drive and a stunning view!

It was absolutely beautiful. The site came with a small table, chairs, and even wood for the fire, which made it much easier experience to plan. The wildflowers were still in bloom as of mid-September when we stayed.
The flowers are out of this world. Lori was incredibly welcoming and accommodating up arrival and occasionally check in via text to see if we needed anything. Wood and chairs were provided, which was great. While you could see the host's home from the site (you camp in the front of the property), the meadow provided relative privacy. I would definitely camp here again. It was so peaceful.
