Getting out of the city is sometimes the most difficult part of a journey. At Spruce Ridge, you and your family and friends can meet up for a weekend away or meet up to go on to a further destination, like Jasper (3 1/2 hours away), and close enough to attractions in the area Lac Ste. Anne Pilgrimage National Historic Site of Canada - 23 minutes away West Edmonton Mall - 35 minuters Cougar Creek Golf Club 16 minutes Heather Downs Horse Arena - 2 minutes Freeson Brothers in Stoney Plains - 15 minutes (Shopping and Restaurant (try their pizza - it’s amazing and you can take an uncooked one back to camp) The property is 5 acres of fenced property with trees, walking paths. Later in the year we plan on having a large garden, a dedicated parking area (no RVs, please), a fire pit, with various yard games available. At present, the property has lots of areas to set up tents. It is set up as a walk-in at the moment.

Learn more about this land: We are a young family just starting out, we have 40 acres within walking distance to the lake with a nice little forest (currently we are working on an easy access through the trees but if you enjoy foraging this might fit perfectly!)  We are very open to helping set up activities or anything you may need. We have grown up in the area and know it very well and hope you enjoy your time! The campsites are fairly private, but still close to all of the amenities that we offer. We have recently moved our holiday trailer out of commission to allow for future projects, this will allow more tent room, as well as any desired holiday trailers to park easier if needed. We can assist in parking if there is a need to. Lac Ste. Anne is only a 15-minute drive from our property where you can enjoy swimming, hiking, biking, and so much more! Please be mindful we are a farm, our animals are friendly but we ask that you respect the fences. Children are asked to stay on the cut grass unless accompanied by an adult (we have a pond and other various safety hazards).  -Please clean up after yourselves - pack in, pack out! - Campfires are permitted within local regulations - Picnic table provided - Pit toilet available -Electrical and water hookup available -Both wifi and cell reception on the property

With lots of space for kids to play, families may take long walks to our 'spring' (sorry no swimming; only for inspiration, peacefulness & wildlife) while picking wild Saskatoons, Raspberries & Rosehips (in season). Please note our farm is 'fragrance free' - no colognes, perfumes, scented deodorant or scented bug spray. We have an 'outdoor bathroom' for your use when one is not enough. We have tables & chairs to eat your lunch &/or snacks (bring own), as we do not offer food for sale. Smoking allowed in your camper unit(s) only. NOT TENTS. We have alpaca products & a variety of gifts for sale - such as: hats, mittens, socks, insoles, scarves, yarn, & raw fiber. We also offer an Alpaca sponsorship program, alpaca ornaments, adventure bags, etc.. We accept donations towards the care of the animals, as well. Payment accepted by cash or electronic transfers (e-transfers) in either currency of U.S. or Canadian dollars - NO exchange rates will be offered (if you have U.S. dollars they will be the same value as Canadian dollars). We are close to several local towns with full services - physicians, dental, chiropractors & hospitals, gas stations, wash & sewage removal stations, grocery stores (West Edmonton Mall), restaurants, shopping, banking centers, etc. Pets are welcomed - dogs &/or cats, however they must be on a leash, cleaned up after, well behaved, and MUST BE PRE-APPROVED FIRST before request is confirmed, depending on their age & breed.
