I picked this last weekend to do a minimal human-contact type of solo trip and was completely not disappointed with choosing this spot to do that.
MacKenzie is quite pleasant, super friendly. He reached out in the day i went in good time and gave clear directions, and even offered to help me get un-lost while I was ... *somewhere*... out there.
The camping space is wonderful - much more than I was expecting, makes it comfy without being too much, and the tree lights really are a nice touch.
I think most of the other reviews cover a lot of good reasons to camp here, in any case it will be a pleasant surprise.
I sure hope I didn't come off like a turd for being so not talk-y while I was there, I'd most certainly love to go here again, and maybe bring a few friends along to enjoy it too. Thank you Mackenzie!

Beautiful site, peaceful, friendly, close to Bend. Great night. Would definitely stay there again, hopefully soon.
This was a perfect resting place for the night. The site was great for my tent, nice soft grass and a couple big trees. The amenities were exactly what I was looking for and Mackenzie was great. My most favorite part? Listening to the frogs as I fell asleep.

The place is super quiet! The host is very friendly and we highly recommend this campsite to you all.
Perfect spot for our ladies weekend! Beautiful shaded grassy camp area with lovely little touches to make it perfectly comfortable! Absolutely loved the table and light set-up, waking up to animals, and watching the sun rise and set around the ranch!
MacKenzie was SO helpful, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with- he made our stay wonderful!
Us and our 7 and 10 year old LOVED our stay at this secluded and well maintained camp spot. The large lush grass area was such a treat and it was nice to have a bit of shade under the junipers. The patio furniture, charcoal grill, and table were a great convenience. The large and well maintained portapotty and outdoor utility sink were great to have access to. Oh, and at night the trees have twinkle lights strung up in them that you can have on of off. We loved the ambiance and thoughtfulness. Really nice hosts that live on the property and a sweet dog that loves belly rubs. We will especially miss our new lizard friend who lives in the crotch of one of the trees. He didn’t want to be touched but was comfortable just hanging out watching us do our thing. Already planning on coming back next summer!

Listen for the Mountain chickadees in the morning, they seem to love the juniper trees that shade the campsite. Julia, Mackenzie’s mother, greeted us on our arrival and made sure we were settled and that we knew where everything was. She let us know it was okay to park our pop-up van on the grass under a tree. It was a nice level shaded spot that although close to residents was quiet and private. It was fun for this city girl to stay on a working ranch with cattle and chickens. The friendly ranch dog took a break from his/her work to come by and inspect our set up. Mackenzie was available by text and promptly answered a question. He makes his site welcoming and fun with fairy lights, old farm implements, an ornate mirror over the outdoor sink, and scattered seating and tables. There was a handy table to set up our camp stove by the bbq. The port-a-john was nearby and absolutely immaculate. All amenities were exactly as described. We stayed one night on our road trip but I would come back to stay here as a base to explore nearby Bend, OR.

This was a beautiful, quiet place that was perfect for relaxing after a busy day in Bend. We loved our stay!
So lovely. We stayed here as a halfway point camping between Portland and the Alvord Desert. The ranch is idyllic, and the camping spot is comfortable and private. Amazing to have access to a bathroom, water, and the other amenities offered. We loved watching the animals! Makenzie was an excellent host and communicator. Thank you so much!
