Great place to stay, Trent is a awesome host. I would recommend this cabin to everyone. He’s super friendly awesome to be around. And gots some of the best jokes/ stories. 10 outta 10.
This was the most perfect getaway stay! The cabin was beyond perfect, quiet, and the tub was the perfect extra touch. I can’t wait to come back!
Me, my husband, and small dog had a fabulous weekend staying at Trent’s cabin. Trent stocks the cabin with everything you would need to be comfortable. On our second day we were even offered more ice and firewood. So nice! The wood fired tub was pure heaven, and I had a glorious nap in the hammock under a canopy of trees. I highly recommend this property!
This was everything I hoped it would be! I felt the description and other reviews gave me an accurate representation of what to expect. The land is close to town and in a neighborhood setting, yet when you get on the property it feels like you are much further out. There is a main house that you pass on the way in and park near. But down at the cabin it feels very private. The only time we saw anyone was when we were up by the main house checking out the goats and chickens. Everyone we spoke with was very friendly, and Trent was extremely helpful and accommodating. He brought us and our gear to the cabin in a quad.
We loved the wood fired hot tub, it was all ready to go when we arrived! The outdoor shower was hot and very nice. The outhouse was just a short walk away. We brought more gear than we needed, but I was happy to have our camping chairs and camp table to set up by the fire pit which is within line of sight, but not right by the cabin. The cabin got very cold at night because we turned off the heater, yet I had no idea until I saw my breath in the morning because there were so many cozy blankets! The heater was easy to operate and heated the space quickly when needed. I brought my pillow and was happy I did, there are two provided. Trent provided plenty of wood. There are very basic cooking supplies, but if you plan anything more involved you might want to bring the appropriate utensils with you.
We really loved it here and would definitely stay again.

WOW!!! I don't know what else to say that hasn't already been said by the other positive reviews. I'll just say that I had very high expectations going in to my stay at the Cozy Cabin and somehow Trent was able to exceed them!!! I went solo - just me and my dog - and we both had the most amazing magical weekend of restorative relaxation. Pure heaven. Can't wait to return again, and again, and again... !
From the moment we arrived, Trent made us feel super welcome. From the tour of the property, to showing us how to work the hot tub, he made the entire process feel like entertainment we should be paying extra for!
We brought our pup who is nervous around new people and explained that to Trent beforehand. He was sure to greet us with a pocket full of treats and gave our dog the time he needed to warm up.
Living in the city, our dog doesnt get a lot of off leash time. So to have 20 acres he could run free on, he was livin his best life for the entire 2 days.
The very unexpected snow storm we had posed an issue getting out of the steep driveway. We were brought into to the main home with open arms and a warm cup of cocoa until the snow plow was brought out.
Trent followed us all the way to main road to ensure we got there safely!
I think Trent is our (and our dogs) new best furiend!

We came back! Our trip was somehow even better the second time. Trent continues to go above and beyond as a host, he was super communicative and incredibly friendly and helpful. The place is so clean and comfortable and the hot tub is unbeatable we didn't want to leave!
Trent was so friendly and responded quickly to messages/questions. Beautiful little property and the dogs were welcomed with open arms. It rained the whole time we were there, but we spent most of the time in the wood fired tub anyways! Trent kept us stocked with fire wood and supplied all the necessities. The bed was warm and cozy, Great time all around!

I cannot rave enough about about my stay in the cabin. Trent was super communicative and incredibly hospitable. It was pretty cold during my stay and he made sure I had enough wood to stay warm and made sure I had everything I needed.
While being about 10 mins to Portland, the cabin sitting back on the property made it feel very privates and serene. The wood fire tub truly made my trip, I think I spent at least a few hours in it each day - so relaxing.
