We are nestled here on the south east side of Main Street & corner of 1st Street, in the small unincorporated town of Crane, Oregon. Crane which started in 1916 was the head of the railroad were many cattle and sheep were shipped out and supplies brought in to Harney Valley, the largest county in the Pacific northwest.Pitch your tent or pull your RV out in the field. Pick a spot that you like and enjoy the nice quiet mornings and evenings here. There is a picnic table, access to water, and one porta potty. I am working on a community fire pit (depending on local seasonal fire restrictions). During the day you can explore to the south where you’ll find the Malhure national wildlife refuge & the Steens mountains. The Round Barn visitors center is located on the gateway to those points of interest. If you travel east on gravel roads you access the Oregon outback where you can connect with hundreds of miles of BLM access roads & explore. The west takes you to our local Crystal Crane Hot Springs ( just 5 miles away) The area is vast & popular for fishing & hunting, atv & horseback riding
