Neal Creek runs through the farm, offering a tranquil ambiance with its soothing sounds, making it a dreamy wake-up call for guests. Additionally, there's a picturesque 10-foot-deep pond, fed by Shelly Creek, attracting graceful ducks. Children of all ages can enjoy the thrill of a very tall swing on the property. There are 2 full restrooms each with a shower, 1 built inside a 20-foot shipping container the other right beside it. Exploring the farm is a delightful experience, guests are welcome to let their dogs roam freely. No plastic bags left behind please. There is a small garbage can in each restroom or even better grab a shovel, dig a small hole, add nutrients to the soil, cover with dirt & Mother Nature will take it from there .The trees would love to see that. Skaters ... and maybe some of you ... wait for it ... used to skate ... LOL ... there's a mini ramp inside a 20' shipping container, drop in. Please remember to dispose of all waste and recyclables responsibly by taking them to the Hood River Recycle and Transfer Station at 3440 Guignard Dr, Hood River, OR 97031.Neal Creek runs through the farm and it is a dream to wake up to the sound of a creek. There is a 10' deep pond fed by Shelly Creek that ducks fly into as well. There is a very tall swing that children of all ages love. Two complete restrooms one in a container one next door in the barn. There is a fire pit not a full kitchen.

Nella Chestnut Farm

Awesome stay on a beautiful farm!

My wife and I loved our stay at Nella! It's Summer h a perfect place and close to Hood River/MT Hood. The property is beautiful. When you first enter the property you are allowed to park and setup camp anywhere you see fit. I would definitely recommend grabbing a spot by the river, but if the river is full another great spot is by the pond. We brought our pup along and he loved being able to run around freely. This property has many cool amenities! A hangout room that includes bathroom with shower, a secondary bathroom, a bar or indoor area that offers seating, and mini ramp for skating. The host Bernardo was very kind. The first night he setup a fire for everyone and even took the time to show me how to ride the mini ramp. We will for sure stop by again if camping in the area!

Great spot for campers with dogs

Nella Chestnut Farm is a great spot! Bernardo is very relaxed and welcoming. The property is eclectic and fun to explore. It was a great spot for our dog to run around and make friends. Do beware, if you set up a tent in the orchard, the chestnut husks on the ground from the previous year are very pokey! Not a deterrent, just something to consider :)

Breath of fresh air staying here. A unique place for the adventuress camper. Funky and cool buildings with unique common areas. Not for the uptight.
