Great location, secure, thoughtfully stocked and very clean. Everything we would need. A heater in the bathroom would have been next level but not expected from this type of accommodation. Would come back!

We had a wonderful car camping experience here! Max was an amazing host ā very accommodating, thoughtful, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The campsite was well kept and had all the essentials ready for us, which made our trip so much easier. You can really see the care and effort Max puts into making guests feel welcome. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free camping experience!

Very nicely put together. The amenities under the shelter with mosquito spray, propane fire pit were a nice touch. The bathroom/shower was very very clean.

This campsite was absolutely lovely, it had everything you could need for a good place to land for the night (or more). My dogs absolutely loved having a safe space to stretch their legs while we made our trek to and from WA. Thank you Max for being so accommodating.

We had a great stay at Vantopia! Max was very responsive, answered all our questions, and made sure our stay went well. The location was perfect for our adventures. Youāll get a small amount of road noise, but it didnāt bother us at all. The shower was really nice after a long day. We didnāt use the toilet as we had one in our camper. Everything was very clean and tidy, tree cover was nice for the hotter days. Overall we recommend the spot and are hoping to come back!

I loved camping at Vantopia in Welches., OR. Our host Max was great at communicating arrival time and making our stay comfortable. We rode the alpine slide at Mt. Hood which was just a short 10 min drive. Highly recommend staying at Maxās place!

A tranquil special place, with many details to make the stay very pleasant, including lots of firewood, a propane fire pit, electrical hookup, a covered seating and eating area, and a most delightful shower. Love the stickers too

What a lovely spotā¦ my dog and I felt spoiled for the one overnight we were there. Max, the host, thought of everything. I really appreciated all the thoughtful details (outlined in description). And he is super friendly and responsive. While we couldnāt have a real campfire, the propane pit set the mood just fine in the evening. And despite some road noise from Rt. 26, the space is peacefulā¦ we slept soundly under the Doug Firs. We were the only campers, so we got the entire property to ourselves. My dog definitely enjoyed the fenced-in exploring. Be sure to go the the Mt. Hood Baking Company just down the road!

We loved this site and Max was a great host! Having a fenced area to let the dog run around was so nice after a day in the car. The site had everything we needed and more. We will definitely stay here next time we're in the area.

Nice clean spot and really close to the Mt. Hood action. Fantastic covered space and shower. Host was great as well. Be prepared to pack out trash and your poop bags.

My friends and I rolled up to this beautiful spot just off the road, and it was exactly what we needed after a long drive from Bend. Finding campsites can be tricky this time of year, so we were stoked to land such a peaceful and well-kept site. Even though it rained all day, the covered area made a huge difference in giving us space to eat dinner, hang out, and stash gear while we set up our car camp. Plenty of room for my pup to run around, and the on-site bathroom was super clean (huge bonus!). Itās also a great jumping-off point if you're looking to exploreāMt. Hood is just one of many nearby adventures. Max was a great host and was responsive, helpful, and welcoming. Would definitely come back!

We loved our stay at Vantopia. We travel with our 2 dogs and they loved sniffing around the completely fenced camping area while we were relaxing after an awesome day at the BLM Wildwood Rec area just up the road! We loved how close the amenities were (thrift way and restaurants) while being in the woods. We will be back, as we want to check out multiple trailheads in the vicinity (the zig zag ranger station has all the information on so many hikes and is minutes away.

We had a great experience staying at this site! The space was more than enough for our needsāspacious, clean, and very well-maintained. One of the highlights was the covered area for our gear and meals, which really made our stay more comfortable, especially during the evenings. It was a real treat to have running water, making it feel more like a "glamping" experience than a traditional campsite.
What I loved most was the seclusion. The site felt private and peaceful, allowing us to relax in nature without the usual crowding that comes with other campsites. But even though it felt tucked away, it was just minutes from everything we needed. The proximity to great restaurants, coffee (recommend Mt. Hood Baking Company), a grocery store, and stunning Mt. Hood and its hiking trails made it so convenient. We had so many outdoor adventures, knowing we had a comfortable, peaceful spot to return to.
Highly recommend this site to anyone looking for a peaceful yet well-connected spot for their camper van adventures!
