Fun Camping Experience!
We enjoyed tent camping here! It was a fun to see the animals on the farm, and they did not disturb our sleep. The hosts were kind enough to give us fresh food from the farm and we went to a nearby farm to pick blueberries as well. Overall a great stay!

We loved camping here. It's the world's best combination: quiet camping spot, private beach, a pond to swim in, a fire pit, an outdoor kitchen. It's like being in a ressort with all the amenities you need by yourself with the sounds of ducks, chicken, goats, pigs, frogs... giving a concert. If you want to visit paradise, go here! Our kids loved petting the dogs, bunnies and goats. They also got to find eggs and pick raspberries and potatoes and onions. It's the best hidden gem in the world!!

Great experience-we WILL be back!
We LOVED camping at Grateful Valley Farm! We went twice-once for a quick overnight on our way from So Cal to WA & then again for 2 nights on our way back home. So beautiful & lots of places to camp as we were the only ones there. Steve gave us a great tour & was super helpful w all our questions (even helped us out by schlepping all our gear to our site w the trailer on his ATV).
Pros: hot water, soap & sinks in various places on the property; Beach & pond; electricity avail; helpful, kind welcoming hosts; quiet, rural area; farm animals & gardens; my spouse liked the honor bar beer; quick responses from host on hipcamp
Cons: wasn’t aware that host wouldn’t be there at all on our 2nd stay & it was just a bit awkward as we didn’t know how to communicate w Alex the caretaker except to wait for him to appear (this is a minor issue that could easily be resolved w preparation & communication)-to his credit, Alex was very helpful & kind when we did ask him for something; having a flush toilet & hot shower were SO AWESOME (especially w all the rain on our first trip), but bathroom def needed some TLC- needed to ask for the trash to be emptied (and it was) & I chose to sweep the floor & wash the rug so I felt more comfortable on our 2nd trip. Still, would recommend flip flops for the camp bathroom. For me, these weren’t deal breakers/didn’t ruin our trip & we worked around them. We WILL come back! Oh, and we bought some honey & eggs upon leaving (Steve has an apiary & chickens!)

Camping on a beautiful farm!
If you want to be out in nature, in a gorgeous spot in rural OR w some great amenities (pond, “beach”, camp bathroom, hot water for dishwashing and showers, etc etc) AND be welcomed by a great host (or prop mgr when host is at work), then this is the spot! Steve and Christina have done such a nice job of creating a welcoming and beautiful place to camp. We were there twice-1 night on our way No (from So Cal to Vashon Is, WA) & 2 nites on our way So. Next time we go up to the PNW, we will plan to spend more time here. We can’t wait to go back! Thx Steve and Christina and Alex!

Lovely
Steve is such a generous host. Its a lovely farm and you get a taste of the self sustaining lifestyle. you get to stay deeper into the woods. Steve will help you move your things from your car to the campsite with his vehicle

Serene environment
Great place! It’s private yet I felt very safe. Steve/Christina made this place in a little paradise. I swam in the pond, had (chilled) wine at the bar, and then sat peacefully by my tent. Lovely day!
