Located at the Four Directions Retreat, the rustic Tiny Cabin is nestled amongst the firs and ferns.  It is a wonderful place to create or to "Just Be."  The cabin sleeps two, plus it has its own campsite for additional guests in the Summer.

Some features include a picnic table, an outdoor fire pit with hanging grill,  and an indoor-safe propane heater for those cool nights. Firewood is available for purchase all year around and a camp kitchen with the bare essentials is included.  You may also enjoy the relaxing and romantic ambiance created by the fairy lights placed around the trees.

We run power to the Tiny Cabin in the Winter and early Spring for additional electric heat and to provide power for other items such as a lamp, an electric hotplate, and coffee pot.  We also provide a unique covered eating area to keep you dry during the cold and rainy season.

During the Summer you can take a break from the heat in the Tiny Cabin our just chillax in your own hammock amongst the huge ferns, Douglas Fir, Western Cedar and Alder trees.  You can also take in some fresh air and forest views while hiking around the trails on the property.

Our beautiful property features a 40 year old Douglas Fir forest and a spacious meadow which is stunning in the spring with wild grasses and beautiful flowers.  During the Summer you can take a break from the heat or just chillax amongst the huge ferns, Douglas Fir, Western Cedar and Alder trees.  You can also take in some fresh air and forest views while hiking around the trails on the property.

In 2021, we built a great stage for entertainment (concerts and movie nights) and an outdoor kitchen using reclaimed materials. Along with the stage and Tiny Cabin, we constructed a private area for the 16' Glamping tent, a sweet spot for the 12' custom Tipi and 10 traditional camp sites;.  You will also find various other amenities you can choose from to make your stay enjoyable.

Interested in getting some good ole' goat lovin' in during your stay - we have fun little fluffy goats who really enjoy showing off for our guests!  We also have some entertaining Muscovy Ducks that are sure to please.  If that isn't enough, we are located close to a lot of cool activities and areas of interest.  If you like disc golf, Trojan Park is only 8 minutes away.  You can jump in the water at a couple County Parks along the mighty Columbia River which are about 10 minutes away.  The picturesque Beaver Falls is a stunning 20 minute drive through the country followed by a short hike.  Then you can always take a kayak around Scappoose Bay which is a 30 minute drive from 4D.

Starting in June (weather permitting), we will play outdoor movies at the stage on our 200" screen and fantastic surround sound system! To find out more, like and follow us on Facebook.

We look forward to seeing you!  - Nicole and Kris

What a special place. A small, private camping experience on a beautiful property created, loved and cared for by Nicole and Kris. All spaces are very secluded, private, beautiful and quiet. All directions and signage were clear and accurate. The hiking trail was a real bonus - and we discovered the blackberry patch! I almost want to keep the “Tiny Cabin” a secret because it’s so perfect.

4D is magical place. Loved camping here. The host were very nice. The property was extremely well kept and the camp chef was amazing. Possibly the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. It was unfortunate there was a fire ban, we almost cancelled. But we were very glad we decided to go. Thank you for a great first camping experience since we had our firstborn.

Better than "OK", but would recommend either a screen door or replace front window with one having a screen. Needed some cross-ventilation.

I coordinated a group campout with other families from my daughter’s preschool, and we had a wonderful time at The Four Directions Retreat! All of the sites were lovingly maintained, it was quiet, the meadow had lots of fun activities for the kids, and the camp kitchen and sauna were wonderful for the adults! The Tiny Cabin was so nice and cozy, especially in the rain! I’d highly recommend this special place, and I hope we can return soon. Kris and Nicole were so kind and helpful the entire way, from planning to our departure at checkout.

Perfect little glamping cabin in the woods! Everything you need to survive plus the most comfortable and cozy bed! Plenty of room behind the cabin to really feel secluded and away from it all. A little trail does run through the front area of the cabin so you might have people walk through and other campers are within ear shot however, I wasn't disturbed after 10pm and the cabin itself is very quiet. What a treat to escape the city!

This place is incredible. If you are on the fence about booking a stay, just do it.

Some specifics:

This place has way more camping supplies than we realized. It has pots/pans/camping stove/propane/smore's sticks. There is plenty of firewood and water available. Plus you don't need to bring a tent/sleeping bag/pillow etc if you plan on sleeping in the cabin.

Secondly, the property is gorgeous. There are walking trails for a little hike, the campsites are well maintained. We were the first guests to be able to use their newly built sauna, which was a great way to end our day! There are even goats to pet! The surrounding area is great too. We went on a hike to a really cool waterfall and spend a day on the beach that is about a 15 minute drive from the site.

Third, Kris and Nicole are fantastic. They were easy to contact and generous with use of their property. We were already talking about booking another visit as we were leaving.
