This was a beautiful farm! The directions were exactly as described and the view of the hills were breathtaking. Very peaceful. We had a great time.
want to feel close & connected to an organic farm (& nursery) that is just springing to life? this is a sweet spot that offers easy access, lovely views and friendly people. there are two camping locations--one next to the main buildings, under a large oak tree overlooking a field, and the other deeper into the property next to a small river. i would recommend the latter only for hipcampers with 4-wheel drive--at least in the spring! our sprintervan got seriously stuck and we needed to be rescued by friendly farmer christopher (and his tractor) who saved the day. there is also a small bathroom building with a toilet, sink and shower. modest but a nice amenity if needed. david was interesting to talk to and shared the history of the land. we stayed only one night but wish the good people of sacred fields farm all the best!
An organic farm at a bargain price.
An organic farm at a bargain price. The owner is nice and helped us out when we needed a garden hose. A good bathroom with shower in a proper building, otherwise no amenities. The surrounding area is picturesque but hardly a luxury vacation destination. The farm has one nice camp site (already taken) and lots of space next to fields which are OK. I should point out that camping on an organic farm is much nicer than a full-scale farm field full of mud, bugs, and smells. We came with a big camper trailer; getting in and out was tricky but definitely doable.
This place was perfect. Beautiful views and a quiet private place for the night. David was helpful and friendly. Great place to camp!
Property as described. Working farm setting. Good location near many attractions. We camped at the site nearest the house which had a lot of shade and wi-fi access which worked well. We enjoyed blackberries, peaches and cherry tomatoes grown on the farm. Communication with the host prior to arrival was excellent.
Gorgeous property, very easy to find, very easy to setup, easy to access and find the listed amenities, and very friendly hosts! I needed a last minute booking and it ended up being my favourite stay on my trip!
David’s farm was awesome with great views and access to the river. David was also very kind and hospitable. Will stay again.
Peaceful, quiet, privacy and lots of options for shade. David and the farm manager couldn't have been better hosts. By far the best spot i saw in the area. There is a private bathhouse with hot water!!!
