Pitch your tent, or park your RV along the picturesque bank of Evans Creek. Three spacious single sites and one double site set on 5 acres of land for you to enjoy. Explore the shady creek, sandy hills and trails, or play some family games in the large meadow. We can be your base camp for southern Oregon activities, or our Creekside Campsite can be your destination.

Campsites are located near the creek, meadow and all amenities. All campsites have a designated area for the provided propane firepit and include a 6ft picnic table. All campsites are great for tents, campervans and RV's(max length 28ft). Trailers are not a good fit for our sites at this time.

Watch out for wildlife! Elk, deer, eagles, heron, turtles, ducks, and geese (to name a few) are regulars to your campsite.

Stargaze in the open meadow, its great for frisbee and catch too! Historically, Evans Creek was panned for gold...will you find what the old timers left behind?

Camping isn't the same without a campfire, and in Southern Oregon we are very fire safety conscience. During the summer months, because of fire restrictions, wood burning is not permitted at the campground - so we provide each site with a  propane firepit. You can bring your own propane tank or rent one from us during your stay.

The Common Area -

A wash station is provided for handwashing, filling water bottles, or giving those wiped out dishes a final rinse. The 5 gallon jugs will be replenished daily. A spigot is available too in the meadow for non drinking water.

Trash can and a porta-potty (serviced regularly) is tucked away in the common area.

Horseshoes is set up for anyone to enjoy, and feel free to bring your own yard game activities.

Our large open meadow, available for all of our campers, is about an acre of fun for stargazing, softball, bocci ball, frisbee, catch, and hanging out - enjoy as you will!

- Site 1 -

Site 1 is our group site and the most spacious campsite. It can accommodate up to 3 vehicles, 3 tents, and 10 people (be sure to add the 2nd and 3rd vehicle and/or tent in the "extras" at checkout).

This site has a large stone firepit, picnic table, and both open and shady spots to set up and relax. Bordering the meadow and common area, this is a great site for your group to spread out.

When arriving to site 1, you will cross the bridge, past the Creekside Campground welcome sign and your site will be on the right. Please pull past the horseshoe pits, parking and set up area is in the small meadow to the left of the fire pit.

This site has plenty of shade and sun throughout the day.

- Site 2 -

Site 2 is a pull through site with a breathtaking view of the rock garden below, and the mountains that frame our valley. Designed for 1 vehicle, 1 tent, and 4 people.

When arriving to site 2 you will cross the bridge, and pass the Creekside Campground Welcome sign on your right - you will then take your first right off of the gravel road, keeping the Oregon Grapes on your right; you will then make another right once you see the "2" site identifier (pictured).  You know you are in the right spot because you went up a small knoll and back down to your spot. Picnic table and firepit are set up on the old flood bank - the creek is about 75 ft way and 15 ft below. Enjoy the natural seats provided by the fallen oak while you take in the open skies and magnificent views.

This site has full sun in the afternoon and a view of the sunrise and sunset.

- Site 3 -

Site 3 is a large pull in site perfect for your RV, vanlife or overland rig. Designed for 1 vehicle, 1 tent, and 4 people.

When arriving to site 3 you will cross the bridge, and pass the Creekside Campground Welcome sign on your right - you will will then take your first right off of the gravel road, keeping the Oregon Grapes on your right; you will then make a slight right once you see the "3" site identifier (pictured).

Just beyond the pull in area is a cozy natural nook that holds some tent sites, the fire pit and picnic table - this area is set atop the old floodbank with stunning views and easy access to the rock garden below and creek beyond (about 75'). Be prepared to be serenaded by the crickets, frogs, and owls!

This site has a good mix of sun and shade throughout the day.

- Site 4 -

Site 4 Is also a large pull in site perfect for your RV, vanlife or overland rig. Designed for 1 vehicle, 1 tent, and 4 people.

When arriving to site 4 you will cross the bridge, and pass the Creekside Campground Welcome sign on your right - you will will then take your first right off of the gravel road, keeping the Oregon Grapes on your right; you will then continue past site 2, and site 3, until you see the "4" site identifier (pictured) and continue right into your camping oasis!

The site has a large pull in area with a flat tent spot near the back. Fire pit and picnic table are set up near the tent area. This site borders only site 3 with a natural spacious border of oak trees and Oregon grape. Of all our spacious sites, this one would provide the most privacy. A path is cut for this site to access the creek and old floodbank which has some great views. Additionally, this site backs up to some fun exploring through the natural flood cuts and allows for access to the common meadow.

Quiet time is from 9pm to 9am; fires extinguished by midnight; and in order to preserve the experience of all of our guests we ask that music always be kept to a neighborly level and projectors not be used. During quiet time hours we ask that campers keep all noise inaudible to other campers, and no generators be used. The Campground entrance gate is also closed during quiet hours.

Dogs are absolutely welcome, we require that they be leashed and polite at all times, and of course picked up after.

All sites have the option to add a tent, vehicle and additional people, just check out the "extras" when booking.

Whether your floating the Rogue, wine tasting, mountain biking, ziplining, or passing through on a family vacation, we have the safe, spacious, campsite for you, your friends, and family. Hope to meet you soon.

For our stay at Creekside Campground, we opted to set up camp at site #3. The camping plot was well-maintained, and came equipped with a propane fire ring, picnic table, trash can, and quick access to a simple toilet facility and potable water. In short, this Hipcamp offered
everything my husband and I could possibly need for an enjoyable camping experience.

Our thoughtful host, Tommy, welcomed us upon arrival and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Thank you!
The grounds of Creekside Campground have nice walking paths that meander throughout the campground and down to a calm creek. Several types of birds were spotted during our walk through the campground in addition to a colorful array of regional wildflowers and heaps of blackberries.

The natural highlights of this property were well complemented by recreational gaming opportunities set up at the common areas. Cornhole boards, horse shoes, and oversized Jenga are available for all to enjoy.

For a quiet night in a relaxed, well-kept setting, Creekside Campground is a great choice. Thank you for your hospitality, Tommy! We enjoyed our stay at your Hipcamp.

We decided not to stay there after coming to the place.
We found that we could not enter or leave the place for half a day, 9pm-9am, since the gate was closed during that time. So if you're coming late or leaving early, you're out of luck (the quiet hours are in the description)
The place looks nice though.

Response from Tommy, the Host, on August 15th, 2022

Dmitry - Thank you for the opportunity to clarify our gate and quiet hours policy. Yes, quiet hours are 9pm to 9am, but the gate is open at around 7am or earlier if a guest needs an early exit. Additionally when guests have a situation that occurs that brings them to camp after 9pm, they are not out of luck, I have on numerous occasions met road weary guests at the gate to ensure they don't miss our property, guide them to their spot, and give them my quick welcome speech. I always reach out to guests who have not arrived by 8pm to check in and come up with a plan for their arrival. Per our messaging, it seemed like you wanted to come and go from our property between the hours of 9PM and 9AM, which is totally fine at other camp places including state parks…it is not part of the experience we provide at our private campground. Having vehicles coming and going throughout the night would make me uncomfortable as a property owner, as well as if I was a camper…so yes the gate is closed at night for the safety of my family and our camping guests. This situation though has allowed me to see a deficiency in my campsite description, and I thank you for bringing it to my attention. Going forward, guests can expect to receive a welcome message that highlights our rules and guidelines, emergency procedures, and guest expectations. This message will reiterate our policies, and give future campers an opportunity to cancel with a refund if they missed something and do not want to stay in our family oriented, peaceful, and safe campground. We used Creekside Campground as a base camp for our adventures around southern Oregon -- fishing, whitewater rafting, etc. Most days we were out and about, so we didn't get to utilize some of the amenities -- cornhole, horseshoes, giant Jenga.

We enjoyed the privacy and how clean/well-kept everything was. Tommy was super-chill and friendly. He was open to suggestions for improvements and is continually improving his campsites.

We loved staying at Tommy's campsite. It was amazing. Tommy was extremely helpful with giving us ideas for activities to do outside of camping, having propane, and a firepit for us to use. The creek next to the campsite was a wonderful surprise. It was easy to escape the heat, and relax in the shade next to or in the water. We got to see plenty of wildlife. Everything was peaceful and quiet. Perfect for what we were looking for to relax. Easily one of the best camping experiences.

Awesome camp site. Highly recommend. Not far from the interstate. Easy to find. Super clean and tidy with plenty of amenities to keep you extra comfortable.

The easy access to the creek from our campsite was REALLY appreciated with the extra heat this July. Made even better with the shade courtesy of the nearby mountain in the early evening. Nice escape!
