A wonderful campground in the middle of a Juniper forest. The hosts are very kind people and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Thoughtful touches, water, and recycling/garbage available on site! Even the compost toilet was cute and quaint. Thank you so much for having us! 💫
A very peaceful and remote-feeling attractive site in the Oregon high desert. Make sure to get host’s welcome packet and follow detailed instructions for location and other information. Camp site is thoughtful with everything needed.
We LOVED it here! We were so disappointed that we couldn't stay longer. The road was a bit bumpy going up, but once you get to the site, you'll never want to leave.
It got a little chilly at night, but after getting some firewood from the hosts, we warmed right up.
We've been traveling for a week and this is definitely our favorite site.
Our stay at CJ’s was amazing. The land here feels sacred and holy and we got to connect to nature in a profound way. Would highly highly recommend!
After a week of crowded campsites, this was a very refreshingly quiet place to stay.
Great spot! Totally recommend following their advice to arrive during the daylight. Plenty of sprawling tent spaces and a nice communal set up, super clean outhouse (I suggest pooping with the door open cause it’s a great view to relax and makes you feel like the queen you are) ! Go naked if you can. Ciao!

We had a great time camping with Aurora Outfitters! Our host was so thoughtful and the space was so thoughtfully designed with a common area complete with cafe/saloon and a lovely outdoor resting space with natural wood chairs and wind chimes. The camp site itself was super spacious. We were only two people, but many more could have fit comfortably. The canopied "kitchen" space was both adorable and functional with a charcoal grill and a full water cooler. Spaces were cleared for tents and we had a big fire ring to ourselves. The site was a quick walk away from the common area, but we had plenty of privacy and our own, very clean, outhouse. And from the site, we got a nice little view of the sunset and a great view of the stars. Christopher offered lots of advice on our chosen hiking destination (flatiron to castle rock), and made coffee each morning in case we needed some. We only wish times were different and we'd been able to bring more people to enjoy the space with us!
Christopher was very communicative with directions and made me and my party feel welcome from the beginning. As we were the only group on the property that night, we had plenty of privacy. The December weather meant temperatures in the 30s at night with some pretty high winds, but luckily my group was well-prepared.
The campsite featured a (very clean) outhouse-style toilet, water, a fire pit, a shaded dining area, and a shaded bar/cooking area. Trash and recycle bins as well. The drive was roughly 40 minutes from Bend, and an unpaved road led to the campsite area. Plenty of visibility for stargazing!
