Not a place to stay if you have hay fever. CG is located next to a creek in a hay field. Needs gravel base to aid in draining and the portta potty is a hike to get to.

I think I may have been the first tent camper of ‘22 going in early April. Gorgeous property to relax with the sounds of the creek and enjoy the scenery all around. Nice little walking path along the creek with a sign marking the start of the trail off the road that runs thru the property. Clean porta potty. Cute picnic tables provided at both sites. Great stop convenient to I-5. Susan is a great host and sharing her property is really a gift.

Mind the pink flags - Susan has added new planted growth :)Along the trail Along the trail Trail marker

Our stay at Susan’s place was just what we needed. It’s close to the interstate and we were able to camp in a serine spot by a creek on our drive south from Washington. Susan is a great host and met us when we arrived and showed us around. It is clear that she values her land and stewards it with love and grace! Highly recommend a stay here.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed a second stay at Applegate Century Farm. Susan is a marvelous host, full of stories about the history of the land and the natural surroundings, and she showed us a fun hiking trail to enjoy between relaxing by the creek and preparing meals at our picnic table. This campsite is a must-see if traveling in the area and needing a night off the road (1-mile from I-5) or just for a weekend of respite from city life. We will most definitely be back!

Peaceful, open, Beauty, light.
Sue was so helpful. Friendly - made sure we had everything we needed.
My kids loved it - so many great places to enjoy.
Having picnic benches great and far enough away from other campers that it does not feel crowded.

We loved camping at Susan's beautiful property! She was a delight to talk with and the site had everything we needed, including the absolute cleanest portapotty I have ever seen. We will definitely be back!

When our original plans in nearby Willamette Nat’l Forest were not panning out due to fires & heavy smoke we (3 adults, 3 kids, and a dog) had to come up with a plan B fast. Luckily with little notice we found this place & Susan was more than accommodating. The farm was beautiful, quiet, full of history & wildlife. Our site along the creek & in the shade was natural & relaxing. Though we were informed the creek was lower than usual due to drought, there was still a good cool current and the kids played in it all weekend (adults & dog took a dip too). Susan was a wonderful host & offered bits of history, future plans on the farm & wildlife/garden knowledge. Love it when plan B turns out to be just what you needed. Definitely will plan a trip back!

The walk down little nature trail.Field in front of site #2, which is tucked in trees along creek (there’s also a field to the left of pic in front of site #1, which is also tucked in trees along creek).Creek view at bottom of little nature trail. The barn! View once you’ve pulled all the way up the drive.

We had a nice stay at Susan’s farm. The campsite was shaded by a creek, with a picnic table, and a nice flat spot to set up our tent. The directions were clear and it was conveniently located off the freeway. It was a great place to break up our drive and take a rest for the evening. We would come back again!
