We loved this campsite! Amanda was really friendly and helpful. We stayed here on a Sunday night and had the whole place to ourselves. The entire park is nice, but I think this site in particular was one of the prettiest we've stayed at in Oklahoma. The bathrooms were clean and nearby. There's a fun trail that takes you from camp down to the runestone. We'll definitely stay here again.
Runestone revelry in heavener, ok
It was wonderful. Amanda suggested a better campsite that provided spectacular views of the sunsets. The shower was clean. The campsite was spacious. Everyone was very friendly. Added plus to hike the park at my leisure; more perspective on the location of the Runestone and its fortress like qualities. This camp provides funds for the care of the Runestone so if nearby consider staying with them. A 'win-win'.
Really enjoyed my stay!
What a great place! Highly recommend a stop here. Nice tent campsites. Excellent views. Super quiet. Has some nice hiking trails. Hosts were super friendly. Will definitely stop in again if I am in the area. Keep up the good work.
We had an exceptional experience! Amanda was very helpful and had great communication. The park is a real gem from the moderately challenging hike (especially after it rains) to the incredible views up on the hill. This has to be one of the best sunsets in Oklahoma! We will definitely be visiting again.
