Late night accomodation
I didn't even get to stay there.
Host couldn't accommodate my late timing driving back from a nighttime event, so I couldn't get in through the gate. Should have been implied in the listing description.
Great friendly place to rest👍
I would recommend it to anyone.
Super friendly and informative
Especially the kids who knew more about the many animals they keep than I did!!!
If we come back that way again we would visit again
This place is great! The river view is great and Amanda and Brian provide so much for you to do! The only complaint I have is something that they have no control over, but the train is about 20 yards from the campsite and goes all night long. If you are a light sleeper like me, just be aware! But like I said they have no control over this and as long as you don’t mind the train noise this place is great!
Great location, easy transaction
Bryan’s place was conveniently located and the transaction was so easy! We were driving cross-country and booked a site at the location just hours before we arrived for the night. The campsites are located at the rear of the property and have plenty of space. The only issue for us was that there were numerous trains going by the site throughout the night and blowing their horns as they approached an intersection at the front of the property. It was extremely loud and limited our sleep (along with our two dogs).
Bryan was there to greet us and give us a lay of the land. The water access right by the site was awesome. We got in an evening paddle and a morning paddle. The train does run nearby, but we thought it was cool.
Amazing family running the campsite making sure we were comfortable and happy! Great canoe & paddle board rentals too and very helpful people. The campsite was nice and maintained, and flat as well. Would definitely recommend!
This is a really cool place! I wish we had more time to rent a kayak or paddleboard to explore the river. Loved our campsite right on the water. Amanda gave us a good intro to all the animals. This was our first hipcamp stay and if we are ever back in the area, we will stay again.
