Camping with kids and pets
We had an amazing experience camping on Sheila’s land! Our site (site 4) was beautiful and private! Communication was great, there was tons of fun things to do with our son, and the cinnamon rolls are delicious!
We enjoyed camping at Sheila's! Peaceful site #2 with plenty of space for tents and a canopy if desired! However, plenty of tree cover as well! There is about 3/4 of a mile gravel road leading up to the house as well for those with delicate cars. The homemade cinnamon buns are delicious!!! Would come again! Went to the brewery for dinner as well and enjoyed it, only 10 mins away!!
Exactly what we were looking for. To get out of Columbus, unwind and unplug. Nice, quiet and peaceful at the Peaceful Stream campsite 2.
Perfect place to camp with kids!
We had such an amazing time! The spot we were in was well maintained, had a beautiful little creek right next to the site where the kids played. Can’t wait to come back! 😁
We were met on arrival by Sheila's husband. Both Sheila and Jana were extremely communicative/great hosts! We camped on site 2, Peaceful Stream. It was very secluded. Def recommend. A wagon was provided to lug our stuff back to the campsite. A short walk and super easy with the wagon. Our cars were parked just outside the path if we needed them. The site easily fit two tents and could definitely fit more/larger tents. Firewood we got was already at the site and in a nice little wood shed. There was also a 2x3 rustic table and fire ring.
The amenities keep going...there are goats and animals around the property to check out, great hammock trees, nice community area for campers with a kids playground, and cleanest porta potty I've ever used. The hiking is great with well groomed trails all around the property marked by colored arrows. They provide a map which helped a bunch, but I think the colored arrow trail markers were new since they weren't reflected on the map just yet. It was still easy to navigate. We hiked up along the farmed hill one night and watched a beautiful sunset. The view was spectacular.
Also checked out Site 3. It's a bit of a hike from the main area, but there did seem to be road access via a cleared path that might be useful for unloading. That path is a hill and still a 30 yard hike though. The site itself looked great.
Most definitely get the cinnamon rolls. They. Are. Divine!
Also check out Wooly Pig Brewery nearby.
Thanks Sheila and Jana!!

We loved to camping on Sheila’s land. So quiet and peaceful. The whole land is beautiful. Well equpiedd. The sites are very nice, clean and private. Can’t wait to go back again!

We've camped at the walnut Grove site many times, its absolutely perfect in every way for our family with young kids. There's a creek right next to a grassy shaded area to set up camp. There's also a meadow close by with a pavilion and playground. We love coming to pleasant valley farms!
